Lance frowned, watching Keith walk to the training deck as he trailed behind.
Keith had always been cold to Lance, but never like this. Never like this ever. Did-..Did something happen? What had Lance missed?
"Are you coming or what?"
Lance nodded and walked to where Keith was already positioned.

Lance was breathing heavy, his eyes locked on his opponent. Keith was doing the same, staring at him with the intensity of hot coals from a burning fire that glowed amber.
Keith swung a punch and Lance rolled to the side, landing a swift kick in Keith's side.
Keith hissed, weird, lance thought,  and retaliated. Soon, both of them were rolling around on the ground.

This only lasted so long though, and Lance was caught off guard by a punch in the stomach from Keith.
Keith held Lance down, a firm forearm pressing against his throat. Lance was on his back, and unable to get up. Keith decked him in the stomach again, and they locked eyes. Keith had already won, what was he doing?

Keith's eyes narrowed and seemed to unfocus and pressed his arm down on Lance's throat, hard.

Lance made a choking sound, eyes widening in horror as he felt the pressure close his windpipe. He tried to breathe. He found he couldn't, and white dots danced in his vision.

"Keith!"

The pressure that had been gripped around his throat loosened, and Keith stood up.
