I have re-read the previous chapters and I saw quite a lot of mistakes. The timeline was also quite messy. So, I might be reconstructing the story in the future.

In this story, the Kiryuu massacre did not happen, meaning the Kiryuus did not kill Hiou Shizuka during their mission. Zero's papa, mama and Shizuka are alive. The war also didn't happen here, but in the future chapters, it might. Kuran Rido is still 'sleeping', so he might pop out as an antagonist as I'd like pair him up with Zero in the future. I'm quite fond of Rido, so ヽ(ﾟ∀ﾟ)ﾉ we'll see.

Yuuki is a pureblood here, she, Zero and Ichiru went to Cross Academy together ( To promote coexistence ), might as well say that they are childhood friends. And for the butter knife incident, there will be a story behind it in the future chapters.

One more thing, Zero is not a vampire here, yet. As I said before, he graduated high school early to undergo his president training. He is now 22 years old.

I'm sorry for the ramble, please enjoy this short Kaname moment as he expresses his undying love to our dear sleeping Zero.

Side: Kuran Kaname

They sat in that position for hours with Zero sitting in between his legs before Zero went into a brink of exhaustion and fell asleep. Kaname bit his lip just a little as he watched the man in his arms, he looked so...broken.

Why? Why?

Kaname tighten his embrace around the sleeping male protectively, his long piano fingers detached themselves from the silver strands to Zero's cheek. He brushed his thumb across Zero's redden eyes lightly to wipe away the tears, before giving the silverette a kiss on his forehead.

Whoever did this to Zero is going to pay. He was going to have so much fun tormenting the person. His dark brown orbs turned crimson red as his fangs elongated.

Now that the silverette was finally in his arms, Kaname will not let this chance slip again. He will not hold back his feelings for the hunter anymore. Zero will belong to him and him only. He slowly moved his hand to hold the back of the other male's head again. His grip in Zero's hair tighten making the sleeping male moan slightly as he kissed the silver haired male's neck.
