🔥🔥🔥Chapter Two🔥🔥🔥

☀️Summer☀️

She looks gorgeous, that girl next door. Ember steps out of her car, which she followed us in.

"Stop staring." Kenzie nudges me with her elbow.

I brush her off, seeing her roll her eyes, and walk over to Ember.

"Come on." I nod to her dads, which were the first married gay couple I've met, and hold her hand to pull her away.

"I'll see you later." She waved her free hand to them as she tightened her grip on mine.

"Where are we going?" She says to me, her voice soft. I've yet to hear her raise her voice.

"I want to show you something."

The woods are pretty here, the lake visible through the trees.

I lead her up a small hill, looking back to see her looking at the lake.

"Here."

On the opposite side of the hill is a steep cliff. The top of the hill is flat, the perfect place to sit.

"Wow." She breathes, taking her hand from mine to stand on the edge.

I smile and go to stand next to her. While she stares at the lake, I take in her beauty.

She has a heart-shaped face. Her skin is pale and flawless. She has an adorable button nose and cool green eyes. Her black hair is straight and looks soft, reaching down to her cute butt. I wish I could kiss her Cupid's bow lips, here and now.

"This is beautiful, Summer." She says, not looking at me.

"Yeah." I answer slowly, still watching her. "You are."

She turned her gaze onto me.

We just look at each other.

I've never met another girl like this one. She doesn't throw herself at me but she doesn't shy away. She is confident but quiet. She doesn't need to speak to show what she thinks. I really like Ember, even though we've known each other for only a day.

"Brother dearest, bring your girlfriend. We're going peddle boating." Kenzie calls from the bottom of the hill.

"We're coming." I yell down to her, ignoring the girlfriend comment.

I turn, not taking my eyes from Ember's, and hold my hand out to her.

She takes it and we walk back to our families hand in hand.
