The next day, Kate March died of a pierced lung and Oliver and Samuel March were hospitalized under severe circumstance after a horrible car crash. Kenzie March was put in foster care.
Amanda Burns never saw any of the March family again, despite her looking for them for two years until her fathers' death.
George and Roberto Burns were killed in a line of homosexual stabbings. Amanda went into severe depression and was institutionalized after attempting suicide.
Samuel recovered but his father couldn't pull through. He finished college and got a medical and psychology degree and got legal custody for Kenzie.
Summer and Ember met three years after their first meeting.
Amanda was just leaving her institution and Samuel applied for a job. Her last therapy session was with Dr. March. They didn't recognize each other but walked away with a slight sense of déjà vu.
