Chapter 5

Nicole Pov
There stood the man i have been waiting for so long. I couldnt take my eyes of him. He stood taller than i remember, those toned arms as if he was a workout freak, dark skin and those eyes those beautiful brown eyes. I never imagined my Henry would turn out to be such a beautiful creature.
I slowly walked down the stairs towards him. I wanted to run into his arms and hold him to cover up the 15 years i spent away from him but he just owed his head slightly and greeted me. "Bula Miss Ratu, il be your bodyguard and advisor till you capable of becoming chief. I hope things will be simple and easy for you.
What the... i mentally screamed you see me all these years and only say this. I went blank didnt know what else to say i just simply nodded to say yes. We stood there slient for few minutes and just looked at each other. I wanted to hold him tell him that i missed him so much but couldnt because there was so much formalities as if we just met each other for the first time. Suddenly mum called my name to indicate lunch was ready. Henry guided me to dinning room to have our lunch. I sat beside dad and mum served me she insisted to serve. Henry stood few inches away from me while his dad joined us to eat. "Henry wont you join us asked dad but he replied no and said he had eaten at home. I couldnt stand this as if he didnt know me i felt sick and sad. I excused myself saying im not feeling well.  Mum and Henry asked to come with me if i needed anything. Without saying anything i left. I ran to my room sobbing thinking what went wrong. At around 6 i went out to see the sunset at our favourite place, where Henry had wrote our names. I went towards the tree and touched our names. Tears filled my eyes knowing with so much love he had written it. I sat there admiring the nature. I was on abit hilly area with trees everywhere, it was simply breathtaking when the sun set. A voice startled me "You should had told me or anyone at home you are leaving", Henry said by gritting his teeth. He looked mad. Before he could say anything else i ran into his arms and sobbed "I missed you so much Henry you have no idea how long these years have been to me waiting for to see you feel, hold you and just hear you. He didnt say anything but i kept talkin 'Why didnt you hold me when you saw me when i arrived my eyes was just searching for you...please say something Henry I long to hear my name from you'. He looked shocked and what shocked me the most was he didnt hug me back but just pushed me away from him. 'You have thought wrong Miss Ratu whatever happened was years back and we were kids only, he laughed. We were just naive children, we are now adults with responsibilities so i suggest you stop acting childish and take the role your father is giving you' 'stop it Henry dont you know how much you mean to me what about our promises i cant forget all those' 'but I can and I suggest you do too, and lets go before its dark' as he left. I just stood there speechless. Where was my Henry gone. I sat there absorbing what all just happened. Saddness came over me but seeing our craved names on the tree gave me hope the same hope i gave him as kids. I will win back my Henry, il do whatever it takes because I am Nicole Ratu. I will win back my love.
