We passed through the building making sure to check our corners so nobody would sneak up on us. "Why'd you shoot that man?" Mar asked Jackson.
"He was gonna turn you saw it he got bit it was better to put him out if his misery," Jackson answered her.
"Mar he's right it's one less on to inflict damage on others," I look at her.
"Well with that logic you could say that about killing an innocent."
"That's why we are going around not shooting Innocents," he shot at a zombie as he said that. "That was a zombie I cannot stress that enough," I just laughed. It started to rain now it was dark in this alley I couldn't see anything Jackson clicked on his flashlight. "Come on we have to keep searching buildings," he went up to a door getting ready to kick it down.
"Woah woah woah you don't just go around kicking down doors," I walk in front of him. "There's still people alive around here we still need to knock I don't think many people are gonna like you kicking down doors," Jackson sighed and gestured me to knock on the door. I knocked on it expecting an answer. "Maybe their sleeping?" I kept knocking. "Hello? Is anyone in there it's raining and we don't like being wet," I smile.
"If I knew it was going to rain I would've brought our jackets," Mar says.
"Well it wasn't supposed to rain this week," Jackson put in as I kept knocking we were talking a bit loud.
"Well I guess we can just kick it down," I say moving out of the way. "Go ahead," I gesture to Jackson to kick it down he smiles.
"Glad to kick it down," he kicked at the door not opening.
"Wow that worked great good one," I say smiling.
"Come on it's not gonna open up on the first kick," he kicks it again and it opens. "See now it opens," he smiles.
"Yeah you're a real Hercules," I say smiling and walking in I see a girl. "Uh how long has she been there?" I ask Mar.
"Ever since Hercules here kicked it down," she points at Jackson.
"Hey I didn't know she was in there!" He held his hands up I bent down to get to her level.
"Excuse me how old are you?" I ask her she was holding a crowbar and there was blood on her Jacket her hair was dark and it went down to her shoulder.
"I-I'm 10 m-my dad he... he killed someone," I looked at Jackson and Mar.
"Who uh gave you the crowbar?" She looked at it.
"M-my father," a few tears fell down her face.
"Where's your father?" She points upstairs.
"Jackson go check it out please," he nods and goes upstairs. "Where's your mother?" I ask the girl.
"She went on a business trip," the girl said. "I don't know where," I can hear a door being kicked down. "What was that?" She looks up the stairs I decide to ignore the door and just keep asking her questions.
"What's your name I should've asked that before everything else," I smile at her.
"M-my name's Alex," she gives a weak smile back a loud bang goes off. "Wh-what was that?" I shrug it off it was probably Jackson.
"I'm Cameron and this is Mar," I point at Mar and she waves. "The one who went to check on your father is Jackson," Alex nods Jackson runs down the stairs.
"The fathers uh," he looks at Alex. "He's sleeping he asked us to watch over you," he says to her.
"Are you guys babysitters?" She asks us. "They always get ones when they go out," I look at Mar and she just shrugs.
