“Okay, so what was up with you in English?” Dylan asked once we were out of earshot from Cassie and Eric, Eric had already begged for my forgiveness since he was given false information. I forgave him.
I shrugged, “I wanted to mess around with Lilie.”
“She’s going to kick your ass,” he said, arching an eyebrow.
“The girl who apparently hates doing any physical work at all? I think I’ve got a pretty good chance of survival. I'm a lot more stronger than you think,” I rolled my eyes.
He caught my arm gently, making me stop and face him as we passed a few kids, “I know what happened with Eric,” he said awkwardly, rubbing the back of his head as he dropped his hand from my arm, “I’m sorry. I told him not to tell you until I confronted Lilie to fix this myself.”
"It's alright, he explained it to me this morning. I shouldn't have just assumed you would throw me under the bus" I sighed as I plopped down on the grass field we were in.
"So you aren't going to brutally murder me?" Dylan chuckled as he sat down next to me.
"Not today my friend," I giggled as I leaned my head against his shoulder.
"You know that Lilie is still hoping that I will take her back," he sighed as he wrapped his arm around my waist.
"That girl has some serious mental problems, I'm getting very concerned," I sighed as I plucked up a few blade's of grass.
"So dance?" he asked with a chuckle.
"Yes dance. It was Cassie's idea but it was my fault for telling her that I took dance for a couple years," I grumbled as I continued to pull out grass.
"Well all I'd like to know is if I'm invited to any of your preformance's?" he chuckled giving my side a slight squeeze.
"Of course," I giggled as I moved his arm off and laid my head down on his lap.
He smiled down at me and started running his fingers through my hair, something I quite enjoyed.
I looked up at him to smile only to get caught in an intense stare, his hazel eyes to my brown.
"So I was wondering if you could give me some womanly advice?" he chuckled as he continued to gently massage my scalp.
"Shoot," I hummed as I closed my eyes. Small goosebumps slowly rising on my skin.
"See I have this friend who is really close to a friend of his, a girl. He is quite smitten with her but she doesn't seem to feel the same," he sighed, his warm breath gently hitting my lips.
When I opened my eyes I saw him extremely close to my face, his lips hovering over mine.
"How does he know she doesn't feel the same?" I whispered as I stared into his eyes.
We just continued to stare at each other for a long while before he finally slowly started to move closer to my lips. I could feel the heat rising up to my cheeks, my heart slightly racing.
Oh my god he was going to kiss me. This is happening. Oh my god.
"Hey loser's care to finish it up?! We are going to be late to class!" a voice yelled in the distance. Cassie.
Suddenly I was being lifted up and thrown over a hard shoulder.
"Don't wanna be late!" Dylan laughed as he carried me across the field.
"Put me down you freak!" I yelled as I started kicking his stomach, my legs to short to reach his little tender friends.
"No can do Dia, we simply can't be late for class," Dylan boasted, hugging my legs tight as he walked through the halls. Cassie and Eric right behind us laughing their heads off. Thankfully I was able to lift myself up slightly to flip them off.
