"Beep! Beep! Beep! Time to get your ass out of bed!"

It was official. My roommate was the worst.

I groaned, rolling over.

"Beep! Beep! Beep!"

"No..." I protested, but eventually gave in once I heard water begin to run, presumably filling a bucket to dump over me. After a minute of scrambling to get myself untangled from my covers, I was blearily blinking at the dim light of the sunrise.

"Good, now that you're awake, go take a shower. You need to get changed quickly 'cause you've got a long day ahead of you. I asked June to make us breakfast downstairs. Hurry up before it gets cold and I eat it all!" Dominic said, before giving me a evil smirk and walking out.

I chuckled at his face as I headed into the bathroom to do my usual morning routine. I only wore boxers when I went to sleep so it didn't take long for me to step into the shower and turn on the hot water. I felt my muscles relax as the hot pellets of water streamed down my body. The shower was always a good place for me to get the day's events off my mind. I began to wash myself and hum to a song that I heard somewhere but can't seem to remember the name to.

After finishing the shower, I wrapped a towel around my waist, heading out of the bathroom. It was there that I saw my assistant gazing at the top half of my body. She quickly met my eyes, clearly flustered and embarrassed at the same time. She took a couple of seconds to calm herself down before saying in the most professional manner she could muster at the moment, "Mr. Kang, here is your schedule for the day. Mr. Young cancelled his meeting today due to a personal emergency." She quickly looked away before her eyes would end up wandering down to my lean body.

"Thank you, Natalie, but who said you could enter my apartment? More importantly, my room?" I said coldly while glaring at her now paling face.

"U-um...Mr. Brown let me in."

"That idiot," I mumbled to myself. "I'll deal with him later, now go get out of my room before I fire you!" I shouted, causing her to flinch away from me. She sped out of the room, closing the door behind her in a haste.

I walked leisurely into the closet to pick out my clothes for the day, putting them on and heading down the stairs into the kitchen. Dominic was already gobbling down all the food on his plate. He didn't notice me watching him until he finally looked up with a bit of scrambled egg stuck to his cheek.

"Wow," he said, dramatically stressing the last bit of the word, wiggling his eyebrows. "Someone's lookin' nice today. Are you goin' to go boss mode on your employees today?" He cocked his head to the side, looking like an innocent puppy before wiping off the last bit of food off of his face.

"No, I'm going to beg them to just end my misery already. Why would I want to be here, when I could be in bed sleeping in and binging Stranger Things all day long?" I groaned, shoving a piece of bacon in my mouth.

"So, your usual mood then?" He chuckled, only stopping once I glared at him. He returned it with his usual playful smirk.

"Well, gotta go, my boss is gonna fire me if I'm late again. For the fifteenth time." He got up with a wink, finishing up the last of his breakfast.

"See ya later, Dominic! You know, you're lucky. You don't have to stay in a stiff-ass suit all day and try and pretend you want to be there. Even though you don't." I yelled at his back as he was leaving. I grabbed a plate, making a small mountain of food on my plate. I headed over to the living room, plopping down on the couch before turning on the TV.
