The Difference Between(Alana's Story) Scorch Trails

Alana's P.O.V
I woke up in a white room full of equipment. Didn't I get shot by Gally? I couldn't get my head to foucass on what was happening when the door had popped open. Steam came from the door coming into the room.

"Hello Alana, glad to see you awake," It sounded like a girl? I couldn't get the mind set to remember who it was.

"Who are you?" I said gently trying not to push it to hard

"Remember when you yelled our named before you jumped off the Glade wall,"

I try to get up but when I try I was stuck to a table. I looked down and saw that my wrists where strapped to the table, I tried to wiggle out of them but couldn't. When I looked up from the meatle chains that strapped me down to the table, I saw a woman  with blond hair with a doctor's jacket.

She got a scalpel than headed toward me. I tried to brake free but failed. She started to cut my arm. When she cut in deeper, I started to scream in pain until I fell into the deepest sleep I've had since forever

Minho's P.O.V
I woke up in a sitting position remebring Alana's death. I couldn't bare seeing her lying there in my arms dieing from the gun shot in her stomach. I knew Thomas felt the same, we failed to save her and we both felt guilty for that. We both knew Newt felt more broken than all of us because they where very close and they where siblings.
I got out of bed going to eat breakfast with everyone at the cafeteria. I needed to get something in my stomach to do some more testing.

After a few hours I went to go test but when I got there I sat down and the doctor said

"What's wrong? You seem different from when I first met you at the doors,"

"The girl I loved.....is...dead," I say trying to hide my sadness

"Sorry to hear that," I heard her didn't care about it tone, I tried to ask why she didn't care but didn't bother asking

"Yeah I wish she was here with me," I said hearing the pain that came from me wanting to go back and bring her here with me so they could help her survive.

"What does she look like?" I was surprised that came out of her mouth but didn't want to anwser but I just looked at she was doing, she grabbed a needle than put it in my arm left arm, than pushed down and let go

"She had beautiful brown eyes, beautiful brown hair and- she had an a amazing personality," I had to anwser so I could have help to get it out of my head

"I know her," She said not to sad about it she looked to worked up in what she was doing but Didn't anwser than I heard come out of her mouth

"Do you mean Alana?" I was surprised that she knew her name did she know her before the Maze so I anwser back happily

"Yes! How do you know her?"The exsitment went away when I remember her lying my arms dieing with a wound in her stomach. She saved her self for Thomas and Chuck. I remember she pushed Chuck to the side and put her self in front of Thomas taking the bullet in her stomach.

"Well she was very young and very smart but, after she had a very important meeting she started something that she didn't want for her friends, she went missing after that," She said hearing the sadness in her voice and knew when she went missing she was sent up to the Maze.

"Alana was sent to the Maze when she went missing," I said trying to hide the sadness for her but than I heard footsteps come from down hallway, I looked and saw a woman walking with Teresa. She looked just like  Alana. But when I looked at her a little more it was just a doctor.

After I was done with the testing I went to the room and sat down on the bed and hurried my hands in my hands thinking of Alana. I could have saved her from the gun shot but, to foucassed on saving everyone that I wasn't foucassed on where it was going.

Alana's P.O.V
When I finally woke up, I remember the everything. Do I really remember my memories? I saw Ava sitting there and stare at me.

"Hello Ava, nice to see you again,"

"Hello Alana," Ava said, but I wanted to know where Thomas and Minho

"Where's Minho and Thomas?" I asked wanting to knowin if they made it. She took a deep breath than said trying to keep me calm.

"They are with the rest of the Subjects in room A," She said hearing the grief in her voice.I got up from the meatle table that I was lying on than started for the door until she grabbed my arm stopping me from getting out than said

"Do you want to see them?" She asked making me annoyed of course she knew I was going to see them

"Yes I want to see everyone," I said desperate. She took a deep breath than said

"I will only allow you to see some of them,"

"Why? Why not all of them?" I said confused on why

"We don't need to get them wild up for you being alive," She said with disappointment

"Fine, I will accept ," I said trying to see if she changed her mind but, didn't she turned and grabbed a doctor's coat and put it around my white te-shirt and white geans. There was a name tag on me and it said Dr.Lana. I knew this would help me save some time. I went through the door and saw  Subjects all over the place walking and talking with there friends. I pasted everyone until I got to the room marked A.
I slowly opened the door the door until someone grabbed my wrist before I could open it all the way. I turned and saw it was Janson.

"What do you want Janson?" I anwser in disappointment

"Remember they think your dead, you can't just say hi after a gun shot," He said making a great point out of it

"I will have him for a test than," I say not giving up on seeing him like they want me to

"Fine than I will replace Dr. Isan with you," I nodded after he was done talking in agreement as long as I get to see Minho and almost everyone

While I was waiting , I just went to the lab to see how far we have gotten. When I went into hallway 15 I saw Teresa seeing the pain and suffering if when I left her in her eyes,she had to sitting on the table she must have been waiting for a doctor.If I had neen in there saying hi than I would in there but, I couldn't other whys I will be late  for the testing with Minho. I kept walking until I saw Minho in the testing room already, I opened the door and closed it behind me than turned behind me to look at Minho.

He stared at me switching our gazes but I saw his pain in his eyes, I saw his  suffering in his eyes too, I couldn't bare to see him like this. So I said trying to get the testing ready

"Well Minho, I see you have a problem with something, would you like to tell me about it?"

"Well, I don't really know," He says looking at the floor than back at me

"Its fine if you tell me I would like to keep everyone comfortable here that they can trust us,"I answering not trying to force the anwser out of him

"I not sure if you want to know," He said looking at the floor again

"It's fine if you don't tell me but, if you want to tell me go ahead," I said scared for if he knows that I am trying to blend in but, I shouldn't worry because he must think I'm a doctor

"Well,  because you know why......Alana," I froze in shock because how could he know it's me than said still shocked

"H-how did you know?"

"Your personality isn't hard to miss,"

I sighed than felt tears stream down my face while I said

"I-I'm sorry, I left you in pain,"

He didn't say anything but, he just got up and wrapped his arms around me than said to me while I was crying

"You shouldn't be, I'm glad that they brought you from the maze, I should be the one sorry I should've stoped Gally before he shot you,"

"It's not your fault Minho's, I needed to save Chuck and Thomas because I knew they would make it without me but, I was wrong," I answered trying to keep calm, and I hugged him back
I felt warmth over come me than started to fall asleep in Minho's arms. I started to lose my balance and started to fall, but before I could fully hit the ground Minho caught me from the side and  helped me get to bed. I
fully got to the door to a bed and made it from there to the bed. I felt my eyes feel heavy until they pulled me under to the darkness.
