The Difference Between(Alana's Story) Scorch Trails

Alana's P.O.V
    I sat up quickly because of the nightmare I had. I wanted to sob but, nothing came out, I saw that Minho was still on duty. I stood and walked over to him and than sat down next to him with one leg in my arm's grasp and one flat out in the sand. I put my head on his shoulder trying not to show the fear that I'm hiding, he than put his head on mine. I felt wetness fall onto my cheeks than off of my face, Minho put his arms around me than pulled me toward his chest, than I asked him

       "Minho, do you miss the Glade?" I would except him to answer it quickly but, no he did it a few seconds later.

     "Sometimes, it's where we all started. We're we met, we're I first fell in love with someone." When he said that it made me curious on who he fell in love with. I would be me or Teresa.

      "Who did you fall in love with?" He shifted to face me

     "Alana, I-
 
      "Minho, do you want me to be on duty?" A voice said right next to us. I jumped when it came out. I looked over to see Tommy there with his dagger out. I nodded to him because Minho needed his sleep. Tommy sat next to him than I asked Minho

     "Yes Minho?" His face was blank. I wondered what he  meant and I felt bad because Tommy inturpted but, I don't blame him at the same time. Minho needs his rest, we all do although, I can't sleep because of the nightmares I have at night. I guess I can keep watch while Tommy, Minho, and the others get there rest.

    "I'll keep watch." I say to Tommy and Minho. They looked at me, than got up on there feet and started to volunteer to help.

     "You guys will need the sleep. I can keep watch, I can't sleep anyway." I went to my bag and brought out my bow and arrows than walked over to Tommy and Minho and sat on the sand the same way before. They than told me that I had to switch with one of them so I could get some sleep. I nodded when they where done and they walked to go to sleep.

Minho's P.O.V
    I stayed awake for Alana's safety and so did Thomas. I wanted to discuss the deal again with him because we got her back and she's alive. I know that I love her and I know Thomas loves her too. We both know the secrets between us, but, the thing is Alana is here and awake. I think we should talk about it when this is all over. I would do anything to make sure that she's still alive and doesn't get killed again. I just couldn't let her risk her life, throwing it away just to save others who are being stupid. I didn't talk to him about it because she was right there ready for a fight and I don't want her to die because she was to busy eavesdropping on us.

   "What are you going to do now that Alana is back?" Thomas asks me in a whisper. I knew he wanted to talk about it because of the way he said it.

    "Do what I did in the beinging." I whisper back. He knew acuctally what I meant.

Alana's P.O.V
   I wanted to cry so bad but, no tears came out. So than I shifted but, when I did I heard someone move, I looked around wondering where it came from. I got up ready to fight, something grabbed me from behind covering my mouth. I screamed but, it was blocked by there mouth, I kicked the thing behind me but, they where too strong, I fought but, nothing worked. I saw Thomas and Minho ready for a fight, Minho had a gun in his hand going to shot at me, I saw the look in his eyes he doesn't want to hurt me but, why? His hands where shaking, I nodded at him, he knew what I was signaling to him. He nodded, I elbowed the person behind me, the person sounded like a man. I grabbed my bow and arrow than pointed it at him, I now knew who it was because now he was holding a gun. The only person that I know who holds a gun like that is Janson.

   "Drop your weapons Janson, you're out numbered, drop your weapons or die." He dropped his gun to the sand than went down on his knees. He says not looking at me

    "Dr.Paige wants you back, she sent everyone to go looking for you." My eyes widen still have my bow and arrow still animeing at him, why would she do that, an I that important to her? Am I like her daughter?

   "I won't come with you, not what you did to your own. She wasn't hurting me, it was a mistake." I say to him. I knew that if I left this whole group behind they would have trouble going further to get to the Safe House, J anson knows that.

Ava Page's P.O.V
   So far no one hasn't found her yet. All I know is that she's with the other subjects, which could be anywhere. I tried the tracker but, it found nothing still, well of course because she's smarter than the others so her levels are through the roof. She had skills even when she was born where she could talk at 1 week old, I'm glad to have them get her but, she never wanted to leave her brother. Imprint. Which is very rare, she could only do that if she knew how to do it which is impossible for a little girl who wasn't even born yet. I'm still trying to figure out how she did it, the only really explaintion is if her brother talked to her than comforted her than when she was born, she was crying for her brother. That is very impossible for someone so small. Back than imprints where hard to do on people and still today it is impossible.
