Newt's P.O.V
I couldn't belive what she did. But when I went to get up I saw a white piece next to me. I grabbed it and knew it was from Alana because it's her hand writing:

Newt,
Save yourself
Worry about yourself
Save yourself from the Flare
I save others
But I have groups on my back
WICKED is good
Trust no one, not even people with white suits
I won't live long
But will try to survive
I must watch you and others
I'll be with you again soon

My heart found that soft sopt and pain spread through my heart. I lost her to the Maze, I won't lose her to WICKED. I need to find her first, if we do than we would be able to defeat WICKED for what they have done. My legs started to get tired of standing so I sat down next to the bed, and started to figure out what this meant. I only have part of like she has to listen to WICKED other whys she'll get us killed, I can die by the Flare, that we'll soon cross paths, and she has to save other people while she's saving us. I can't leave her by herself to do this, She can't do that other whys she's going to need help, but, instead of asking for help she's going on her own. I heard footsteps coming from the door, I got up quickly to see Minho staring at me with blankly eyes. I saw in his hand a white piece of paper. He must have seen my paper in my hand because he says

"I'm guessing you got a note from her too?"

"Yeah. But this isn't just a letter it's a puzzle," I anwser to him

"I'm not surprised. She's been......different lately," He says in his own opinion. Unfortunately, I agree with him, maybe she has to save more than one person. I won't understand, but if I where in her shoes, I would have a good reason for it.

Alana's P.O.V
I had my dagger out and ready to fight. I didn't want to do this but, I had to. To save them all, WICKED has been asking me to do this to them. I didn't want to do this anymore, to them, me, and th is test. Even though I wasn't supost to die, I saved a boy who was supost to die from there fucking death sentence to a 12 year old boy. They couldn't just let me die they had me given to another group, to group B. I rejected them, but said they would kill me if I didn't do what they say. I'm betraying them and saving both groups secretly, they also told me not to give my location to any group, well, I broke that one too, I sent one to that guy called Minho and my brother Newt since they where the first to see me. But what I kept a secret was that I was a key to get them to where they needed to go, but who ever finds me first, I have to lead them to the end of the test which is very stupid. Cranks crept closer with there clothes ripped almost to shreds, blood filled there whole body, bloody splaches where where some of the clothes where ripped or on there soon that almost made me puke. I ran out the building than started to run off to the building they directed for me to go. If I kill any Cranks than they would kill them, why am I even part of the test? What do they want from me? A test result? To see how I interact on how I follow orders? I don't know, but Ava connected with me

"How are things going?"

"What the hell you want from me anyway? Why can't I kill Cranks for self-defense so I don't die? Or do you want me to die?" I responded in my head

"Curiosity. Well, first of all we don't want you to kill yourself since your in the test. Another reason is that when you kill Cranks are helping both of the group's not get hurt by the Cranks which we need on how there defenses work. You killing Cranks would be easier since you can kill a griever, so instead of letting you kill Cranks, you have to run away," She responses to my question. Right now, she got on my nerves but I had to stay fucking calm other whys WICKED is going to beat the shit out of me
