Meeting After Death

Thomas woke up at six o'clock and saw John sitting up in bed looking through a notebook.

"Hey babe, whatcha got?" Thomas asked.

"Alex's note book," John replied. He showed Thomas some of Alex's drawings he had done in his spare time.

"I miss him," John started to cry.

"I know John, I do too," Thomas spoke. He also started to cry. John leaned into his chest and held Alex's note book.

"Why him though? He didn't deserve it!" John questioned.

"I don't know, John," Thomas answered. "You'd better get some sleep it was a long day."

"It's 6:13 in the morning Thomas, we are gonna sleep now?"

"Yes, now lay down," They laid down held hands under the covers. John fell back to sleep before Thomas did.

"Hey, John!" There was a familiar person standing in front of John.

"Alex!" John hugged Alex and started crying. "I'm so happy to see you!"

"I'm sorry for doing that to you, John," Alex spoke.

"I'm just happy we are together!" John exclaimed. Then John looked around. They were in his house. All of a sudden, Thomas opened the door and saw Alex.

"Wait, what? Didn't you... die?" Thomas was confused. He walked over to Alex and hugged him.

"Yes, I did die," Alex said.

"Then how are we seeing and speaking to you?" John asked.

"You guys are dreaming," Alex explained.

"Aw, so when we wake up,"

"I won't be there with you guys, but I'm always with you!" Alex interrupted Thomas mid sentence.

"We miss you, Alex!" John spoke. Alex kissed their fore heads and walked away, and disappeared.

Both Thomas and John sat up in bed and looked at each other.

"I saw Alex!" John spoke.

"I did too!" Thomas started tearing up from seeing Alex again. They couldn't sleep any longer so they stayed up and talked about Alex.
