"Thomas, come here for a sec!" John shouted to Thomas who was in the living room.

"What's up baby?" Thomas walked into the kitchen where John was.

"Listen, I have to go to work early today so, that means you have to drop the kids off at school," John spoke. Two children come running into the kitchen and cling onto Thomas.

"Girls, go wake your brother up, please," Thomas said to the kids as they ran up the stairs to wake their older brother up.

"Make sure they get to school on time, please," John said. He kissed Thomas, grabbed his bag and walked out the door. The girls came downstairs and one was crying and her hands covered her cheek.

"Martha! What happened?" Thomas scooped the crying girl up into his arms.

"H-he kicked me!" Thomas pulled her hands away from her face. There was a big red spot in the middle of her cheek. Thomas kissed her forehead and set her down. Thomas walked up the stairs and went into the boys bedroom. There was a pile of clothes covering his floor. Thomas walked over to his bed.

"PHILIP, WAKE YOUR ASS UP!" Thomas shouted. The boy jumped up out of bed.

"What the hell, why did you scream?" Philip asked.

"The girls came up here to wake you up and you kicked Martha in the face!" Thomas exclaimed.

"I did? I didn't mean to!" He ran downstairs and grabbed Martha. He cuddled her and kissed her cheek that was still red.

"You kicked me, Philip," Martha spoke.

"I know, it was an accident. I'm sorry," Philip set his little sister down and picked up his other sister who was clinging on his leg.

"Am I heavy?" She asked.

"You're getting there but, I can handle it!" Philip bragged.

"Frances, leave your slow poke brother alone so he can get ready for school," Thomas yelled.

"Thanks, pops," Philip said sarcastically as he set his sister down.

"I have things to do today get ready so I can drop you off at school," Thomas spoke. The kids got ready and they were on time to school. Only Thomas knew why John went to work early. He only had to work for about three hours on Wednesdays. Thomas waited for John to come home and when he did they got in the car together and drove away. They drove to a cemetery with many graves. It was a foggy and gloomy day. They got out and walked around the cemetery until, they came to one in particular.

The words that were carved in read the name Alexander Hamilton.

"Hi Alex," John spoke.

"We miss you," Thomas added.

"We wish you could meet the kids," John hugged Thomas and started crying. It started to rain.

"I don't care if we get rained on, we're here for you, Alex," Thomas squeezed John and kissed him.

"One day, we'll bring the kids out here to meet you!" They had never told the kids anything about Alex. It's too sensitive of a topic.

"I'm gonna go to the car, I'm cold," John walked to the car and hopped in. Thomas sat there a moment and stared at the grave. He looked at it and instead of his own reflection, he saw Alex. He shook his head thinking it would go away. But it was still there. Thomas looked behind him and there was no one. Finally, Jefferson said goodbye to Alexander and left the cemetery.

"I saw him, babe!" Thomas exclaimed.

"Really?" John asked. Thomas nodded and looked down at his hands which were fidgeting like crazy. John, keeping one hand on the steering wheel, reached over and grabbed Thomas' hand. He looked at John and then glanced towards the road. Thomas took his phone out and before he could turn it on he saw something. Something was reflecting off his black phone screen.         It was Alex. He was following them back to the house. Alex had never seen their new house. It was big. It had four bedrooms and two bathrooms. Much bigger then Thomas' other house. Thomas looked back, but yet again, nobody was there. He looked back and Alex was gone.

"What's wrong, Thomas?" John asked.

"He's in the car with us!" Thomas spoke with excitement.

"How do you know?" John didn't believe Thomas. Thomas told Alex to take his phone if he was with them. Thomas' phone started floating out of his hand and John pulled into the driveway.

"Oh, wow, t-that's... amazing!" John said in awe.

"Stay with us, Alex, please," Thomas begged. Thomas' phone flew back in his hands and when Thomas looked at it, it had one simple word written in the notes app. Yes.
