I was back to work at the gym, taking up my self defense classes three nights a week and I managed to pass the audition to replace Fuuto's trainer. On top of my work helping Fuuto with his stunts and action scenes and at the club, I was also talking with someone from Natsume's company about character modeling. They were developing a schedule for me so I could be brought on full time. My busy schedule kept me out of the house and out of my new siblings' hair for which I was grateful.
Ema was busy studying for school as she had finals coming up and was trying to focus on entrance exams for university. The gym that had been rented out for practice for Fuuto's film was currently being renovated due to water damage so they encouraged all the actors and trainers to find alternate spaces. Fuuto reluctantly agreed to go to Club Fitness with me after I assured him it was a gym that no one who wasn't a member could get in and that we'd have a private room. He was worried about being attacked by fangirls, to which Yusuke and I noted if he showed his fans his real personality he wouldn't have to worry about it.
Fuuto conned Ukyo into driving us, which I didn't think the latter was too thrilled about. He decided to sit in and watch our practice, which unsettled me. Ukyo and Masaomi were still very wary of me.
"Hinata-san!" Max practically tackled me as we stepped through the entrance causing Fuuto and Ukyo to throw us curious looks as I struggled to catch my coworker.
"What the hell?!" I grumbled.
"We have a slight problem. Can you take care of it?" He begged me.
"I'm not even working tonight." I groaned.
Max gave me the puppy dog eyes.
"Ugh! What is it?"
He dragged me behind the counter to look at the security cameras and pointed to two buff dudes that were currently exchanging words in a not so nice fashion in one of our boxing rings. "I think its going to turn ugly and we've already had several guests complain. They're not letting anyone else use the ring and are bullying people and just being generally irritable and saying some violent things."
"Yeah. It's called roid-rage." I rolled my eyes before turning to Fuuto and Ukyo. "Why don't you two wait in the employee lounge for a minut-."
"You're on my time. We're supposed to be training." Fuuto pointed. He was such a brat at times.
"Okay, I guess we can use this as a learning opportunity..." I threw a wary look at Ukyo, he was definitely not going to like this.
"Try not to kill anyone!" Max smiled innocently and I resisted the urge to groan as Ukyo blanched at this. He was definitely not helping my image. "Though I do have the ambulance and the coroner on speed dial just in case."
"You. Are. So. Helpful." I said with a tight-lipped smile trying to be on somewhat good behavior as Ukyo looked very concerned.
Ukyo and Fuuto followed me to one of the boxing rooms. There were a few regulars sitting back away from the ring using the punching bags and other equipment, waiting for the ring to free up. Roid rage 1 and 2 appeared to have been hogging the ring for awhile just slinging insults at all the 'small fries'.
"Hey Evie!" A few of the regulars waved to me before noticing the bandages wound all the way up my arm, "What happened?!"
"Cooking accident." I grumbled before turning to Fuuto. "You stay put. If it gets violent, take notes."
