the forest is the place
they told you the black parade
was coming 
for everyone to face.

you didn't show up
you just stayed home,
even though you knew
it would cost you your soul.

you didn't think she'd
come in for you so quick,
otherwise you would've made time
to blow out that extra candlestick.

you have unfinished business
and you don't have time to leave,
but there's no use fighting it
because the reaper
is on your tail

and that's one monster
even you can't shake.
