M: Ate, akin na muna si Matti. *tells Niki who is on the line in front of her at the supermarket* Patapos na yung sa harap mo. Ikaw na susunod sa counter.

AN: Ha? Kaya mo ba? Wag na baka makasama sa ba... *stops herself when she realizes where they are and sees other people watching them especially M* ...lakang mo. Di ba may ano yan... injury?

M: *looks at AN like she's a crazed woman* Ate, anong pinagsasabi mo? Anong tingin mo sa akin matanda? Akin na kasi si Matti. Okay lang po ako.   Ikaw kaya ang hirap na diyan. Nag-aasikaso sa groceries niyo tapos kay Matti pa. Pili ka ng ibibigay sa akin. Si Matti o yung groceries?

AN: Wag na yung groceries. Lagi na lang. Si Matti na. Pwede mo naman hindi kargahin.

M: Sus, Ate. Okay nga lang. Bilis na. Naghinintay si Ate dun. *smiles at the cashier*

AN: Okay. Sige. *gives Matti to M and pays for their groceries, turns to M after she finishes to get her son but Matti won't let go of his Tita Ninang*

M: Ate, hayaan mo na. Naglalambing eh. Na-miss ako. *smiles and kisses Matti's cheek who hugs her neck and snuggles on her shoulder* See?

AN: Aaaw... Ang sweet naman. Sige ako na dito. Puro snacks and drinks lang naman to para mamaya.

M: Hindi, Ate. Sa card ko na lang.

AN: Hindi na nga. Ako na.

M: Ate, tumatagal tayo oh. Miss, pakikuha yung wallet ko sa bag. *grins at the cashier*

Cashier: *smiles shyly* Ma'am, hindi po pwede.

M: Sabi ko nga. Matti, get Tita Ninang's wallet. Dali.

Matti: *reaches for her bag, opens the zipper and gets M's wallet, hands it to M with a grin*

AN: *gasps* Aba! Sanay na sanay.

M: *grins as she takes her wallet, opens it with one hand and gets her debit card, gives it to the cashier* Siyempre. Galing galing yang baby na yan eh. *finishes the transaction then gives her wallet back to Matti who secures it back in her bag*

AN: *chuckles as she pushes the cart of their purchases away from the counter, walks with M to join their family outside* Wala akong masabi. Ilang araw pa lang ninyong kasama mag-asawa itong si Matti, ang dami nang alam.

M: *giggles* Kalokohan ba? *laughs* Nai-imagine mo ba kung gaano kakawawa si Koochi nito.

AN: Hindi. *smiles* Nai-imagine ko kung gaano siya ka-swerte. *holds M's arm at looks at her sincerely* Menggay, alam kong nakakatakot minsan. Minsan idadaan sa joke yung mga fears natin as a parent pero hindi mo kailangang matakot. Ikaw, kayo ni Tisoy... magiging napaka-buting magulang ninyo sa pamangkin ko. Sigurado yan.

M: *smiles back* Thank you, Ate. I needed to hear that. *hugs Matti tighter* Thank you.

TD: Oh! Ano ba yan? Akin na na yang apo ko. *takes Matti from M* Bakit ikaw nagbubuhat? *whispers to M* Maiipit ang pangalawa kong apo.

M: *giggles* Si Tatay may pabulong-bulong ka na ngayon ah. Okay lang po. Naglalambing lang naman si Bonqui. *grits her teeth as she pinches Matti's cheek*

ND: Oh oh... Nanggi-gigil baka di makatulog ang bata ah.

Coleen: Ayan na naman po si Nanay and her pamahiin. Iba na po ang panahon ngayon, Nay.
