When They Tell

AK: Kayong dalawa, anong meron? *asks R&M while they have dinner for the De Leons wedding reception*

R: *looks over at AK after whispering something to M* Bakit po, Miss A?

Pia: Oo nga. Iba kayo ngayon. Iba. I mean sanay naman kami na sweet kayo at bulungan nang bulungan na parang may sariling mundo pero iba talaga kayo ngayon eh. Parang may extra lambing at saya.

R: Miss P, ano naman yan? Ganito lang kami talaga. Normal namin to lalo at tayo-tayo lang naman dito. *grins sheepishly then looks at M who giggles*

Ryan: Meng, wine oh. *smirks as he hand a newly poured glass to M*

M: *looks at R with wide eyes then politely turns to Ryan with a gentle smile* No, thanks po, Kuya Ry. Uhm... A-ako po kasi ang magda-drive pauwi. *touches R's arm* Si RJ na lang po.

Judy Ann: Ah... So sabay uuwi? Di ba may mga driver kayo? Di ba, bub, noh? Kita natin doon sa labas eh. 

Ryan: Oo nga. Oo nga. Please expound. 

R: Opo. Sabay po. Pinauna ko na po sina Eric para iuwi yung kotse ni Maine. 

Pauleen: Normal din ba yun? *giggles*

R: Normal po. *grins* 

Pauleen: Ah... Ganoon na pala pag friends ngayon noh?

Jose: Yan. Yan. Yan. Sige, Poleng. Pagpaliwanagin mo yang dalawa.

Bossing: Bakit, Jose? Anong nalalaman mo na hindi namin nalalaman?

Jose: Ako naman, Bossing, eh hindi talaga ako magaling sa mga secret secret na yan pero sinusubukan ko bilang respeto sa mga nagtitiwala sa akin sa mga bagay na di pa dapat ipaalam.

Tita Helen: So may dapat ipaalam, Meng? RJ?

M: *coughs after she chokes on the water she is drinking*

R: Oh! Dahan-dahan, Ma. *turns to M worriedly and rubs her back, whispers* Okay ka lang? Si... *is about to ask her about their baby and touch her belly when M stops him* 

M: Okay lang ako. *smiles as she gently pushes his hand back* Magsi-CR lang ako. 

R: Okay. Samahan na kita.

Luanne: Hep! Ako nang sasama. Masyado na kayong halata. *snickers*

Jose: Oo nga. Di pwede yung ginagawa niyo dito na sabay mag-CR.

R: Huy! Kuya Jose!

Tito Sen: Ano yan, Jose? Pakipaliwanag.

Jose: Paano ba yan? Senador ang nagtatanong dapat sumagot ako. Takot ko lang di ba? Wala naman talaga akong alam. Ito eh ung mga nakikita at naririnig ko lang po sa barangay. 

M: Hala, Kuya Jose, ano yan? *blushes and tucks her hair behind her ear, pinches R's side and mumbles* Ikaw kasi...

R: *whispers* Sorry na. Force of habit eh.

Bossing: Oh ayan na naman sila. Bulong bulong. Pag-uuntugin ko na tong mga to.

Pauleen: *pats Bossing's shoulder* Relax lang. *laughs*

Bossing: Eh kasi eh... Nang-aano eh.

R: Bossing, sorry na po. *turns to M* Sabihin na natin.

M: Ngayon na? Akala ko mamaya pa? Di ba kasi di pa tapos yung okasyon. Nakakahiya kina Tito Jo.

JDL: *appears behind them with Tita Eileen as they make their rounds of the guests's table during dinner for pictures* Ano yun? Sabihin niyo na. Sa amin pa ba kayo mahihiya?

R: Ano po kasi, 'To Jo... *scratches the back of his head*

Tita Eileen: Sasabihin niyo na din ba sa amin na ikakasal na kayo?

JDL:  O kasal na?

R&M: *looks at the newly weds in surprise*

Ryan: Mukhang kasal na, 'To Jo. Based sa mga singsing na yung isa, tinatago at yung isa, pinagpapalit-palit para maligaw. Hmmm... Mga one year na mahigit.

R&M: *turn to Ryan then look at each other*

Poleng: Tingin ko din. Mga one year... May napapansin din nga ako kay Meng lately eh...

Judy Ann: Ako din. Meydyo matagal na din. Ayaw ko lang maka-offend kasi baka mali tapos yung nakikita ko hindi pala yun.

Tita Helen: Tama yang nakikita mo. Alam niyo yan. Twice mo napagdaanan, ako apat, si Poleng kailan lang.

Luanne: Ako lost. So hindi ko pa naranasan pero parang alam ko na.

M: *bites her lip and absentmindedly places a hand on her belly as R instinctively looks at her baby bump*

Tita Helen: *nods her head, smiles* Mga 3 months. 

R&M: *both turn to Tita Helen and smile shyly*

Jose: Ano kayo ngayon? Bukong-buko kayo ano? Wala kayong maitago dito ano? *chuckles* 

Tito Sen: Naisip niyo ba na magugulat pa kami? Papunta pa lang kayo, nakailang balik na kami. *chuckles* Sige. Wag na kayong magkwento. Umiling na lang kayo kung mali ang hula namin. 

R&M: *shake their heads*

Bossing: Mali ang chismis sa barangay? Hindi kayo mag-asawa at hindi buntis si Meng?

R: Hindi po ganoon, Bossing. 4 months na po kasi. *smiles and touches M's belly* 

Dabarkads: *immediately burst into a chorus of cheers and congratulations as they get up from their chairs to give the couple a hug*

Everyone: *turns to the table curiously*

Jako: *speaks on the microphone* Looks like excited na ang dabarkads sa mga games natin. May volunteers na ba tayo sa compatibility game? Siyempre kasali sina Mom and Dad. Can we have Bossing at Poleng and Tito Sen and Tita Helen? 

Tito Sen: Okay na kami. Sa tagal naming nagsasama, may question pa ba sa compatibility? *chuckles* Sina Tisoy at Menggay na sa lugar namin. 

Jako: Tito, for married couples po sana yung game. 

JDL: Oh eh di sakto. Alden, Maine, tara na doon. *grins*

R&M: *smile and nod then follow JDL to the front, holding hands*

R: That was easier than we thought. *grins*

M: *sighs in relief* Yup. Let's hope ganoon kadali din ang public announcement.

R: We have them and all our truest friends, we have our families, we have each other and we have God. How hard can it be? *smiles*
