The next morning, Lithuania awoke before anyone else had and immediately looked over to check on Poland. The blond was sleeping peacefully for once instead of tormented by those awful nightmares. Liet remembered the night before, when America had mentioned the Scorpios; Poland had grabbed Lithuania's hand and held on for dear life.

To say Feliks was completely alright would be a lie, and a gross one at that.

'It'll be okay...' Toris thought sadly. 'Just don't lose it. Keep it together, Feliks. I'll stay with you.'

With nothing left to do, Toris rose silently and made his way to the trees so he could relieve himself in privacy. Mr. America had been wise to make a sort of makeshift latrine a fair distance from the campsite.

The morning wore on slowly. America and England stayed busy by comparing the notes they had taken on the Zodiacs. Naturally, England had more inferred knowledge on the creatures, but they still managed to compile a list with their contributions. It went something like this:

Zodiac Danger Levels

        Capricorn: Medium
Aquarius: High (poisonous, water makes their poison more potent, can shoot or spray their poison from their palms and bite)
Pisces: Low (only dangerous if you are pulled into the water)
Aries: Medium (territorial but otherwise fairly unbothered)
Taurus: High (Will charge if aggravated, extremely territorial)
Gemini: Medium (second most human out of all, but that gives them the ability to think like a human and outsmart other people and Zodiac. Always attacks in coordinated groups)
Cancer: High (Will maul/snap people in half with their huge pincers but usually won't attack unless provoked)
Leo: Extreme (though lazy, they are vicious and will destroy when filled with the excitement of a chase and kill)
Virgo: Medium (taken to divebombing humans and other Zodiac with the use of their wings, second most human, live in trees)
Libra: Low (only dangerous if aggravated, they will stay out of fights if there are too many cons, the most human)
Scorpio: Extreme (heavily poisonous, also scary as FUCK)
Sagittarius: High (Can create arrows biologically and will shoot them with their bow-arm (it's a literal bow) with deadly accuracy)

They discussed their own encounters with the creatures, too. "I nearly stumbled over a Scorpio that was napping in an alleyway a few months ago," Arthur recounted. "It would have awoken if I hadn't stifled my shout. As it was, I was scared out of my wits."

Alfred shook his head. "John-- y'know, Oklahoma?--he turned into a Scorpio. I kinda watched him lose his mind."

Without much else to do, Arthur put his hand on Alfred's shoulder and let it stay there for a few seconds. Alfred appreciated the gesture, but didn't let it run on too long. "Ah, hey, it happens. We all lost people close to us, right?"

"We did. But we don't need to dwell on it too long. Stiff upper lip," Arthur reminded him. That pulled a single chortle from Alfred's throat, but that was all. "So, what've you been doing all this time, here on this island?"

"Well, I've been reading a lot, and listening to any broadcasts out there on the radio. Nothing had been on until I caught Germany's just a few days ago." He sighed, leaning back against his driftwood log and looking up. A puffy cloud caught his eyes, huge and white against the backdrop of such a majestic blue.
