—one day after the message 

i put my combination in and open my locker, that's when i see justin coming to his locker.

"hey justin." i greet him. 

i gather my books, waiting for a response.

nothing. 

"justin,what's wrong?" i ask and close my locker. i'm so confused right now, what the hell happened to him? "justin, you can talk to me. what's wrong?" he slams his locker shut, and looks up at me, his face looks sad and pissed at the same time, and he walks away.

"justin!" i call after him. 

no luck. 

—lunch 

"sooo, anything new?" lilly says, and chews on her french fri.

"well, i don't know what the fuck is up with justin. but all day he's been ignoring me. he looks really pissed." i reply back, and take a sip of my chocolate milk.

"why do you think he's mad? or ignoring you?"

"no clue honestly. i feel like he's mad at me, but i have no reason why."  sigh.

"maybe he's cheating." she gasps and covers her mouth.

sure know how to make me feel better.

"yup, not like i would care at all." hint the sarcasm in my tone.

"girlfriend of the year award goes to you! woo hoo!" 

"it was pure sarcasm." i say. "and friend of the year award goes to you. thanks for making me more worried about justin. woo hoo!"

"maybe you should try to text him, facetime even."

smart. i pull out my phone and go to my messages. i click on his and text him.

me: justin,what's up? why have you been ignoring me?

"okay i just did." i say to lilly who's stuffing her face with a burger. me honestly.

"mmm, sooo good." lilly continues to stuff her face.

"bruh." i laugh.

me: of course i care, what the fuck is up with you??

me: how???
