Loki's eyes remained an electric blue

Loki's eyes remained an electric blue. A tortured undertone buried deep within. His dark hair was disorderly but did not diminish his inherent handsome appearance. Light injuries littered his pale face. A small gash on the bridge of his nose, one above his right eyebrow, another below his left eye and a larger discoloration on his forehead. An intricate metal half-mask covered his mouth. He could no longer tell lies, for Thor knew his intelligent brother would somehow have the ability to spirt himself out of the situation. His hands chained, and unable to attack or defend himself.

A tall female stood beside him the mask mirrored his. Shackles hung from her wrists. Loki's eyes locked with hers, they momentarily stared at each other. They broke eye contact, Thor's stern gaze piercing into them.

'The witless oaf.'

Her orbs caught his once more. Even with his mouth covered, she could see the devilish smile dancing on his pallid cheeks and the small, yet boiling fire igniting itself slowly in his eyes. He was not defeated, these humans were so foolish. Playing themselves into his hands, believing he had yielded so easily. He wanted to laugh in their faces, so stupid they were. He never wanted this realm, he wished to rule people who possessed actual mental capacity. Not people where he could crush their throat with a single finger.

Natasha muttered something into Clint's ear. He snorted, dark shades covering his eyes. Loki's eyes shifted mischievously. Thor held the Tesseract up, it was in some sort of contraption that activated the Bifrost. After the bridge had fallen due to God's previous doings, it was nearly impossible to leave Asgard or travel to other realms for that matter. The other realms had quickly descended into chaos. Wars broke out and people continued to die.

Skadi could deny, the similarities to the mortals despite their superiority to them. They were just as imprudent and foolhardy as the humans they held to such a high standard of loathing.

Thor nodded his head towards the two immortals. The dark-haired male narrowed his volatile eyes at his brother, before placing his hand on the machine. The Jotun female followed suit. It initiated and there they were off to his home. It made her laugh, they had plunged headfirst into his plan.

Asgard would soon be his. The mortal he killed so easily was right, as much as he didn't want to admit the truth in his words. 'You lack conviction.' He had said, it surprised Loki that the man would have the nerve when blood dribbled from his mouth, his eyes slowly dulling.

His scepter slid into his flesh. The loud squelch went through his gut, Loki pulled it out, mortal blood tainting the scepter's divinity. Coulson choked and drowned in his own blood, the humans then became so sentimental about the death. The trickster could simply shrug, he hadn't killed that many people and it wasn't his entire intention. They just got in the way, and he knew no better way to rid them of his path.

"Was this attempt to conquer Earth to spite me, brother?"

Loki stared at him blankly, trying to motion towards the mask covering his cracked lips.
