Life is boring at Mnemosyne Institute. Iyan ang paniniwala niya dahil karamihan sa mga alaala na mayroon siya ay sa lugar lang na 'to umiikot, sa piling ng Memoire.

He wasn't sure what the world looks like outside and the worst part, he doesn't even remember his name, it was a lost memory and he's just a 'nobody' inside the institution, he's just 'a boy who can read minds'. Araw-araw sa loob ng apat na sulok ng puting silid at iba't ibang espeyalista ang kaharap niya, maaga pa lang ay naintindihan na niya ang kanyang kapangyarihan.

One day he asked his mother, Michele Margaux, the headmistress of Mnemosyne Institute, about his real name.

"One day I'll tell you. You will be given a 'name' once you are given a mission." his mother answered leaving him confused.

As he grew older, the experts told him that he can manage his powers well. Cairo Hideo became his personal mentor, another Peculiar like him who can read minds.

"Come here, my boy, I got some good news to you," his mentor looks delighted, a bizarre case. "May big break ka na."

"Big break?"

"You're off for a mission."

And so that day, he was given a name. Cloud Enriquez.

Cloud was sent to Sentral City to begin his very first mission, ang maging estudyante sa White Knights Academy upang bantayan ang target ng Memoire, a girl named Jillianne Morie.

Due to Memoire's power and influence ay hindi na naging mahirap na maipasok si Cloud sa loob ng eskwelahan. Kasama niya ang isa sa mga tauhan ni Cairo, si Seraphina, the time manipulator, kaya nitong pahintuin ang oras.

"Hmmm... Mukhang alam ko na kung bakit ako pinasama sa'yo ni Lord Cairo," komento nito habang nasa labas sila ng magiging home room niya.

"Ano pa ba, Seraphina? Edi pahihintuin ang oras," humagikgik ang matanda na may anyong paslit. "Bakit ka natatawa?"

"Wala lang. Nadadama ko lang na excited ka na."

"Bakit naman ako mae-excite?" kunway saad niya. Pero tama naman ito, naeexcite siya sa mga mangyayari dahil sawakas ay mararanasan niya na maging 'normal'.
