Cairo x Karen's Backstory Part Two

"YOU look so pretty than the usual." Napaangat ng tingin si Karen at tumambad sa kanya ang nakangiting mukha ng estudyante, hindi niya ito inaasahang makikita ngayong araw.
"Lucille!" nagulat niyang sabi sa bigla nitong paglitaw sa desk niya sa faculty room, "Napadaan ka 'ata?" Napalingon siya sa orasan na nakasabit sa pader at nakitang mag-aalas gis pa lang ng umaga. She and Lucille have this kind of close relationship mainly because they are in the same propositions.
"I have something to tell you, Miss Karen." tanong nito sa kanya. Usually tuwing uwian silang nag-uusap pagkatapos ng class hours kung kaya't nagtataka si Karen ngayon kung bakit bigla siyang pinuntahan nito. Nabasa niya sa mukha ni Lucille na may importante itong sasabihin.
Tumango siya at akma siyang tatayo ngunit pinigilan siya nito, "I filed a leave of absence for a while..."
"Ha? Bakit?" of course she is aware of Lucille's sickness pero hindi niya napigilang magtanong kung bakit.
"You know the reason, Missy." She fondly calls her 'Missy' "Pumunta lang ako rito para magpaalam ng maayos." She stares at her and she instantly got confused.
"Lucille." Hinawakan niya ito sa kamay. This child is so special, just like her. "Are your dreams still bothering you?" both of them can see the future in the different way, they were born like that, to see what lies ahead.
Umiling si Lucille sa kanya at ngumiti, "I am always dreaming, Missy." Hinawakan din nito ang kamay niya, "They will never stop." She can see something behind her eyes but she's not sure, she wants to tell her something but Lucille is hesitating.
"Don't tell me... Isa pa rin ako sa mga napapanaginipan mo?" lakas loob niyang tanong, magmula nang magtagpo sila ng landas ay palagi nitong nababanggit sa kanya na madalas siyang makita ni Lucille sa sarili nitong panaginip ngunit hindi sinasabi sa kanya kung ano iyon.
'Someone told me... that I cannot simply change the future. I cannot destroy the flow because it will cause chaos.' Ang sinabi nito sa kanya.
