"sis," yukhei called, he was confused as to why his friend seemed to be in a bad mood, he had to walk a little faster to keep up with the girl's fast pace. which was weird because the bae kana he knows only walks in a quick pace when she's late to the cinema. "oi," he called, the girl remained unbothered.

yukhei rolled his eyes before taking a big step to stop kana. "what's up kana? what's with the rush?" he frowned as he looked down to the girl, "nothing," she replied shortly, pushing past the male. yukhei stood there for a split second, in a state of disbelief.

"holy crap." he muttered before jogging his way back to kana, "kana," he called, the girl finally sighed as a response, and stopped on her tracks, "i'm all right, xuxi, nothing to worry about. it's just–girl stuff." she plastered a smile on her face.

he wanted to dismiss the topic, thinking his friend was just on her red days. "xuxi?" he repeated, his head tilting, "something is wrong! there's something about this 'girl stuff', did your friend break the girl code? hmm? eh? hmm?" he wiggled his eyebrows in an attempt to look funny.

the attempt failed when kana remained in her angry position, only then he was starting to believe she was on her red days and he should actually stop bothering her. kana sighed, "you're right, it's yuha, she broke the girl code!" she hissed, making sure no one would hear her.

yukhei raised an eyebrow, "dang, she's hot as heck, but, gotta drop her now," he scrunched his nose, kana rolled her eyes, "you can date her for all i care, but damn! she really went that far." kana clenched her fists, and showed it to yukhei as a habit. "alright, sis, i don't have much time here, i have a boys' meeting today... with the boys, so start talking kana."

the girl sighed, the two started walking to the bus station again, "so you know mark? crazy eyebrows but handsome anyway, you know him, right? of course you do!" she exclaimed, yukhei quietly nodded to himself, "yeah," he answered, "you like him," yukhei bit his lip, holding back his laughter.

"what's so bad about liking him?" she asked whilst hitting the boy on the arm. "anyway, you also know i told yuha, lisa and jisoo about this–since, well, they're my pals." yukhei shrugged. "but then, today, yuha–she–ugh–" she looked at yukhei, who just raised both of his eyebrows at her.

"ugh, that girl!" she yelled, her eyebrows furrowed together, her fist was once again, clenched. "okay," yukhei muttered, his eyes falls onto the pavement they were walking on. "i mean, there's a lot of fish in the see, you see, mark isn't the only salmon out there. maybe you'll find yourself some crabs, man, i love crabs." he grinned, kana looked at her friend weirdly.

"my heart is–it's–it's basically crushed and sad." she sighed. yukhei took a glance at kana as they stopped walking, him taking a seat at the bus stop. "i mean, if hadn't broken up with doyou–" yukhei stopped for a second, "i'm just kidding." he grinned again.

kana took a deep breath, and exhaled, "i mean, i don't really regret that, though. he was, well, a little too–well, too deep into the relationship." she pressed her lips together, the memories of her with doyoung flashed in her mind, a thought she'd love to erase.

yukhei nodded, "he loved–or love, you way too much." he scrunched his nose at the thought of doyoung. kana nodded, "i mean, it's–it's not a bad idea–it's nice that he loves his partner like that–but eh, it was too much–"

"why are we even talking about your ex?" he laughed, kana shrugged and flashed a smile. "oh! that's my bus. see you later kana." he waved at her, before making his way into the said bus. kana stared emptily to the side, not that there was anything to see.

she sighed as she waited for her bus to arrive. the buses she takes are always late, she sometimes wonder if it was some kind of a curse.

she waited for a little longer, but her bus was nowhere around. she glanced at her phone to keep track of the time, before finally deciding on walking home instead. she didn't really enjoy taking the bus–the late ones, to be specific, since doyoung would most probably be in there.

doyoung would always leave his school compound late, which kana does sometime, too. and she did not appreciate meeting him in there at times–the first time she met him by coincidence after their break up, she made up her mind to never stay in the school for more than 30 minutes.
