Merida's POV:

I have never believed in Santa or any Christmas spirit in my life. I used to believe they're just fairy tales and myths that grown-ups would like to tell children to drift them off to sleep and poison their minds. But, a big fat man stands here in front of me, carrying a sack of gifts and was just riding on a sleigh led by reindeers!

"Father Christmas, you're here!" Mrs. Beaver exclaimed.

"Oh ho ho! I am indeed. For a long time the White Witch kept me out but alas! I'm in finally! Her powers are weakening." He said, smiling and then he suddenly stared at us three. Rapunzel went on and hugged the man. "You're real! My classmates said you were just a fragment of childhood fantasies, but you're really real!" She said, hugging him once more. Hiccup got intrigued by the man as well and smiled in his presence.

"That's right! I have gifts for you all. Come close now!" He told us.

Rapunzel and Hiccup came close, but since I had trust issues, I stayed still. Mr. Beaver patted me on the back and signed me to come close to Santa. I didn't want to, but I just went on with it. "Rapunzel, that's your name right?" He asked and Rapunzel got surprised the man knew her name. I knew there was something fishy here! "Here is the juice of the sunflower. A drop of it can heal anyone or anything. And a dagger that symbolizes your bravery, young one." He said and gave those things to Rapunzel. "Thank you so much, Santa." She said then the old man turned to me.

"Merida, that is your name, am I right?" He asked.

"Yes." I said.

He sneaked into his sack of gifts and pulled out a bow and arrow. I got perplexed by the details on the bow. It was so intricate, and it was colored ivory. "You're a courageous blood, young lady. Use this to fight for what you know what's right." He said and I finally smiled at him. "Thank ye so much!" I said, attaching the quiver full of bows on my waist, and I slung the bow across my chest. Santa finally turned to Hiccup and he breathed heavily for this one.

"Hiccup, you're the oldest among the group, and I know you're under a lot of pressure." He told Hiccup.

"Yes, I am..." He said, embarrassed.

Santa pulled out a long, magnificent sword and a shield to match its magnificence. "Use this sword and shield to prove everyone what a king you are." He said and turned to us all with a great smile. "Well then! I must be going! Winter is almost ending, and Aslan is just beginning his move." He said as he embarks on his sleigh. He readies the reins and greets us one last Merry Christmas with a big grin. "Long live Aslan!" He exclaims as he pulled on the reins that made his reindeers go into the forest.

"Bye Santa!" Rapunzel followed along, waving her hands.

I waved too, because it was my first time receiving gifts from a stranger. All my life I had never been much intrigued by gifts but today, all that changed. "What about Jack?" Hiccup asked me. "The old man didn't leave any for him. But first, we gotta get that scallywag. We don't want him dying on us right?" I told them and they nodded.

"Hold on Jack, we're coming." I muttered and then Mr. Beaver and Mrs. Beaver gasped in awe. I looked at where they were looking, and saw that the trees were blooming. "Aslan has come!" Mr. Beaver said and I smiled. Hope is coming.
