I'm assuming you've heard the tales about "The Belter" or "Piggy" or "Devastator" from the legendary crew of the Casadonia? I'm here to tell you they are not tales, and are all true stories. If you don't know the legendary stories about the Casadonia I suggest you go read about them! What no one knows is the story behind each of the crew members and how they found their way to the Casadonia. I know all of their stories and how they came to be, I advise you sit back, and relax as you read their journey to the Casadonia, each of their stories are long but worthwhile.

Let's start with "The Belter" the Casadonian Navigator. He became the best navigator in all the seas, none can compare to him. When he was young he liked to sneak out often and go tracking in the nearby forest and hunt. When he was inside he liked to read maps from the seas, lands, and along with reading things related to hunting or the seas. His parents thought he would be a hunter, hunting game throughout the seas, or to be a navigator for the royal fleet. Little did they know he would be the best pirate navigator. When he was a bit older he started hiking, camping, sailing trips, all sorts of things that further developed his navigational skills. Once he was old enough he decided it was time to leave home and to find himself a life, he took his savings, bought a decent ship to start sailing towards his future whatever it may hold.

One night while sailing, his boat was boarded by pirates while he was asleep. The pirates grabbed him and lifted him up holding a sword to his throat. He wasn't entirely frightened even though his life was at stake, partially because he was barely awake and feeling groggy. The pirates were laughing as they were taking all valuables from his ship and then decided to take Belter with them since he wasn't panicking and they might be able to get a good price for him on one of the slave markets. A few days later he was sold to another pirate crew, luckily for him they were much better group of pirates and would actually feed him.

They were wanting to get someone from the slave market in a form of liberation since they opposed it. They had Belter work as a cabin boy, making him work off what they paid for before releasing him. Weeks later he actually liked the crew, and the crew liked him, they got along well. One night the ship was under fire by another pirate crew, they were completely unprepared for the attack, not that they weren't capable. They were only able to fire a few canon shots before they realized the battle was lost due to bad positioning and being caught off guard, they riskily raised their sails to go full speed towards a storm hoping to get away. The other pirate ship followed still trying to fire at them. Belter knew they weren't going to make it out alive, so he made his way to the Captain, overstepping as he shouted above the waves and storm "Captain, we won't make it out of this storm alive! You know that right?" The captain looked at him briefly with a look in his eyes that showed he agreed with Belter. Belter, further overstepping as he shouted "Captain I need you to trust me, I've been navigating all my life, let me get us through the storm and away from these guys!" To both his and the first mates surprise, the captain agreed. Belter began yelling directions to the captain and the captain yelled orders to the crew, they were mentally questioning what the captain was doing in, but they were keeping their faith in him. Over rough waves, cannonballs splashing behind them, the sound of thunder and the howling of the wind. Belter saw many rocks sticking out of the sea as if they were the teeth of the ocean. He told the captain to steer towards them, the captain was yelling and swearing at Belter for even suggesting something so crazy but at that moment a cannonball smashed into the back of the ship and the captain knew he had no other choices and listened to Belter, keep in mind Belter was only known as Cabin boy. So the captain said "Fine boy, get us through this maze of death" it felt like days of hell navigating through those dangerous waters, but it was only two hours. Shortly after sailing into the jaws of the sea, the other ship crashed into one of the pillars of rock, collapsing onto the boat and sinking it. Finally, after two long, hard hours inside of it narrowly dodging pillars, and bailing water out of the hull they were getting out of it, and they could see the last of the rock pillars, they started cheering over it. The storm was dying down too, but one last wave, a rogue one at that came crashing into a nearby rock pillar sending it towering down hitting the edge of the ship, putting holes in the top part of the ship and sending a part of the railing flying and hitting Belter knocking him unconscious.
