Giggles filled the once quiet air. Our eyes darted to the door as our housemates stumbled through. My lips turned down in disapproval as I studied them. They were all staggering, their words a jumbled mess of nonsense. He sighed before a soft curse tumbled from his lips. Glancing at each other, we decided to help them to their rooms. Setting my cup down, I silently mourned the loss of the once peaceful atmosphere.

My touch was gentle but firm as I guided one of my friends to the bathroom. I helped them strip out of their clothing from the previous day. Drawing a bath, I softly ordered them to stay put. My footsteps were nearly silent as I glided to their room. It only took a moment to gather their sleepwear. The bath was nearly ready when I returned. My friend's doleful eyes stared up at me, watching as I fussed with some stuff. Once bathed and clothed, I led my friend to their room. It did not take very long for them to fall asleep. With a faint smile, I drew the curtains closed and turned their lights off. Once again, the atmosphere was tranquil. My eyes closed as I relaxed in the warm sunlight. My eyes gazed out the window at the trees swaying in the breeze. The mountain range in front of me encouraged my smile to widen.
