3:00 PM, Walking Home
"My family would love to meet you."
Why would they want to meet her? Why would she even go over? What if it were a joke, oh god! She held her hands on her head and started having a mini breakdown. Cars swished past on the cemented road. She let a tear fall and then began stumbling home in a flurry of concern for herself. She stumbled all the way until she was 4 houses away from her own. She spotted a white, 90's looking car in her driveway. She narrowed her green eyes and her lips smeared into a frown. She farted towards her house to find the front door open. She barged in angrily.
At the dining table was a priest with a long grey beard and black cloak that looked as if he was a super hero. He was blind in one eye and the coloured one was a light blue. He held the bible in one hand and around his neck was a Christ necklace. The cross. Evelyn scowled at him and picked up her pace. She marched over to the table and slammed down a fist. "Get. Out." She mumbled in a deep voice. The priest looked at her and showed her the cross. She screamed in a devilish voice and shielded her heart with her hands. Her mother stood back and watched with her head down.
Evelyn looked at her mother in disbelief. She remembered how her mother never cared. Always forced her to do things she didn't want, how she forced her to drink strange substances. And now this. She had enough. She walked into the kitchen head down and a sneaky smile spreading across her cheeks. She opened up the knife drawer. The priest abruptly got up and made his way over to her. "Young child." He whispered into her ear. She plunged the knife into his stomach. His eyes turned red with blood and he fell to the ground. She took the knife out and stabbed him again, in the head.
"God cannot save you from the devil himself." Evelyn groaned in a demonic voice again. She spat at the priest and tore off his cross necklace. She took it to the table and smashed it, using her strength. Her mother backed away, trying to reach for the phone. Evelyn turned her head fully around and stared into her mothers soul. She tilted her head and heard a crack. Her mother screamed in terror. Evelyn charged at her with full speed like a tiger lunging at a small mouse or animal in general. The knife was plunged into her mother's heart. In. Out. In. Out. In. Out. The cycle went on and on. The knife being torn out then being put back in, just to make sure. She wanted her mother to pay.
6:47 PM, Walking To Braedens
With Evelyn not feeling a trace of guilt, she held her head highly, proud of what had occurred because she was the one who did it. She cleaned the floor, undressed the bodies and crushed them so that no one would recognize them if they were found. She hid them in the cellar where she used to hide. She changed into her other school hoodie, a grey one with the schools logo. She walked along the grey sidewalk with her demons following close behind her. She could feel a dark force growing within her and she loved it.
As she arrived at Braedens, she took in her surroundings. A statue on the left near the window, Two cars parked in the driveway. She took a deep breathe and rang the doorbell. It was an eerie sound. A sound that pierced her ears as she waited, the sun going down as she did. 11 seconds passed and a beautiful, light brown haired woman came to the door. She was followed by a man with an elegant suit and tin pan on a plate. The woman wore a graceful red dress that complimented her tinted red eyes. "Hello, Evelyn." The woman said cheerfully as she took Evelyn by the hand.
Pulling her into the mansion, the woman smiled brightly, slightly hopping in every step she took. Evelyn had to move her feet faster to match the mysterious red woman's pace. She squeezed the woman's hand so that she could hang on. The woman scattered around and mumbled to herself in a bubbly voice as they passed various paintings on the wall. Finally, their steps came to a halt as they stood in front of a wooden door with many carvings. "Darling it'll only take you about 10 minutes I hope!" The woman rang a bell and took off. "Just open the door and the maid will help you!" She called as she disappeared down the long, narrow hallway.
