Mom and I arrive at the Karate Studio. The building is white with a red lettered sign that says Karate Studio, hanging a few feet above the doorway.

I unbuckle from my seat and open the door to get out.

"I'll pick you up in about 2 hours, okay?" Mom says.

"See you then." I say as I step out of the car.

I close the door and walk over to the entrance of the Karate Studio. When I get to the door I hear mom drive off.

I stop moving and smile, she's gone.
I turn around and start walking in the opposite direction.

I don't need Karate Class anymore, he's not going to stop bullying me.. I just have to meet him at the park, which is exactly where I'm headed.

The park is only a couple of blocks from here so I should be there by the time school ends.

..........

I opened the gate to the park and looked around to see if Tyler was here.

The park isn't that big, it's got a road on two sides of the park and the other side lead to the woods. The park has doubles of everything, swing sets, monkey bars, slides, and other park equipment.

After about two minutes I spotted Tyler, leaning against one of the trees, near the edge of the park that has the woods. A small group of kids is surrounding him.

I took a deep breath before making my way over to Tyler. It's almost over.

When I finally reach them, everyone stops talking and stares at me.

"Hi." I say, nervously.

Tyler steps forward. "See everyone? I told you he would come."

"Yeah, I'm here..." I said awkwardly.

He reach his hand out. "Shake my hand, so we can show them that we are friends now."

I reached out and took his hand. I smiled and he smiled back.

He turns to the crowd. "I promise never to bully this guy ever again."

He seemed sincere and I could tell he ment what he said.

After a while, the crowd got bored and started to leave.

"Now that we're friends, do you wanna hang out on the swings?" I asked, breaking the silence.

"Swings are for little kids." He said.

"Okay... what do you suggest? I have a whole 1 hour and like 30 minutes to spare." I asked.

He nodded his head towards the woods. "The woods is a great shortcut to the alcohol store."

"Alcohol? We're not 21."

"Duh, I know a guy. We just have to meet him in the parking lot."

"I'm not going to drink alcohol."

"Yes you are or the deal is off."

"What?"

"You heard me."

I can't go back now, I just got my freedom and I'm not willing to give it up even if that means I'll be doing something illegal.

"Okay." I say, giving in.

He smiles and starts walking towards the woods. I follow close behind him.

After a couple of minutes we're deep into the woods and the park isn't in view anymore, neither is the store.

"Are we almost there?" I ask him

He stops in his tracks and turns around to face me.

"Excited?" He says, grinning.

"No... I'm just wondering when we'll see civilization again." I respond

"Oh, well I'm going to see civilization tomorrow at school, and you... well you might never see it again." He responds, grinning

"What?"  I say as my heart pumps a million times faster.

Suddenly, he charges at me, knocking me to the ground along with the air from my lungs.

He pins me down with his body and with one of his hands pulls something white out of his pocket.

"Time to sleep." He says, pushing the white object over my mouth and nose.

I try to breath but each time I do, I feel more and more tired. Eventually I start closing my eyes letting sleep take over.
