Chapter 1.

Percy POV
I sprinted down the beach as I slashed through two snake ladies that evaporated into golden dust.
'New monsters' I asked in my head as I slashed through another.
'Annabeth would know what these were.' I thought and a tear formed in my eye.
I sprinted to my shelter before falling into another flashback.
*FLASHBACK*
Gaea has just risen and the 7 had arrived back to Camp Half-Blood.
"Percy!" Annabeth shouted and grabbed my hand. "I love you." She kissed me. Reyna shouted orders and Chiron fired at Gaea as she threw up a bunch of campers. All dead.
The monsters raided Half-Blood Hill. I sprinted at front line with Frank, Jason, and Leo. Arrows flew and monsters turned to dust.
Leo's hands grew white hot and Jason's hands filled with sparks. Frank drew his bow and shot a cyclops. Leo blasted fire at his foes, and I slashed through them with riptide. Demigods cried and bloodied the earth.
A arrow flew at us and I dodged it.
I slashed through another Cyclops and I heard someone cry in pain.
It was Leo.
An arrow stuck out his chest and blood dampened his shirt.
"P-Perc-yy" he whispered and Jason screamed, looking at his friend.
I jumped down to Leo.
"Take Festus. Save Calypso." He said slowly.
I nodded and he weakly smiled.
"Anything for you bud, anything for you."
He smiled and his eyes rolled in the back of his head. Jason's tears fell down on the bloodied grass and a tear fell from my eye. Frank turned into a eagle and flew Leo back to Camp. Jason and I slashed through the monsters side by side.
Together the monsters didn't stand a chance.
Percy fought for his lost friend. So did Jason.
Piper and Annabeth fought with Hazel and the trio slashed through monsters.
Cyclops's sprinted and cornered the girls. They swung their clubs and Annabeth and Piper ducked. Hazel got hit multiple times in the head and slammed against the tree. Annabeth screamed and slashed at the cyclops. She vaporized them all and Frank showed up.
"H-Hazel? What happened to her?" He shouted and held her head. Blood seeped from her head and her mouth, and a branch was coming out of her stomach.
"Hazel is dead! Why her? Why not me!" Frank screamed and cried. He ran straight toward the army of monsters. He slashed through the first few until a daracnae spat venom at him. He screamed and I sprinted after him. All the sudden, an arrow struck through his neck and he fell to the floor, completely lifeless.
I screamed out. I released my emotions and slashed through monsters left and right. Jason joined, and so did Piper and Annabeth.
I looked to my right and Piper fell on her knees, stabbed in the calf. A demigod raised his sword and Jason jumped in the way. He stabbed the demigod and the demigod crumpled, but his sword still swung. It hit Jason on the neck, and sliced through cleanly. "Jason!" I reached my hand out. Piper cried and screamed in pain, as the loss of her boyfriend haunted her. Her eyes looked careless. Four of my best friends, killed.
Piper sprinted to the army and didn't even make a effort to fight. They beat her to death and tore her limbs apart from her body.
Annabeth screamed and together we fought through the rest of the monsters beside Reyna. Demigods fought monsters and the demigods were winning.
Finally, the monsters were gone.
I breathed hard and I heard a familiar voice.
"AGH" Chiron shouted and Annabeth and I sprinted over. Gaea had stabbed him in the chest, and he fell to the floor, lifeless.
"What a excuse of a grandson." She spat on his dead body.
"Hello, my pawn. All of your friends died. Last is her." She smiled and threw a pointed rock at Annabeth. I tried to jump in the way, but my feet were stuck to the ground. "ANNABETH!" I screamed as she fell to the floor. She smiled and breathed her last breath. "I...... love...... you." She wheezed and closed her eyes. Her chest stopped moving up and down, and anger filled me. I slashed at the earth and winds whirled around me. Rain stung my skin, but it gave me strength. I felt the water in the earth, beneath Gaea. I brought it up and she screamed. I felt the water slice through her body, and I commanded it to do it slowly. I made her feel the pain she caused my friends.
"Please! Have Mercy!" She screamed and I made the water boiling hot in her body. Lava hot. She screamed and fell to her knees. I unsheathed riptide and sliced her head, clean.
I crumpled to my knees and passed out.
When I woke up, Reyna sat at my side. "We have been waiting. You've been asleep for 2 weeks." She smiled.
Tears threatened to fall, and I blinked, my heart aching.
"Get dressed, it's time for their funeral." Reyna got up and walked out. I slipped on a black suit and a black tie. Black shoes.
Drew sung a song, 7 years old, and I cried. My eyes stung from crying so much, and when the coffins were hurried, I cried even more.
I sobbed when they were buried. Campers patted my back and said sorry and thank you. Reyna made a speech.
"The seven demigods that completed this quest shall be forever honnered. Without them, there would be no world for us to live on. Percy Jackson, the only survivor left, had defeated Gaea himself. Without him, we wouldn't be here. That's why we are making this." Reyna smiled and campers tore a cover off of huge 30 foot tall statue. It was the seven demigods. Hazel laughed, and Frank stood with his arm around her. Jason and Piper had their swords in their hands and the other in each others hands. Leo had fire in his hands and he grinned. Annabeth held my hand and her drakon bone sword. And I held Annabeth's hand and riptide.
Everyone cheered and at the bottom put flowers and pictures of each demigod.
I walked off with tears falling down my face and changed my clothes. Black ripped jeans and a pink shirt Annabeth bought me. I covered it with a black windbreaker and threw on my vans and my black jansport backpack. I shoved water bottles and snacks in my bag.
I grabbed the bronze suit case and walked to the beach. I threw it into the air and Festus the dragon, once Charlie's, once Leo's, and now my dragon. Someone needed to take care of him. He roared and blew fire as a blessing to Leo.
I jumped on his back, and a hologram appeared.
"Percy, if your hearing this, I am dead. Find Calypso, and save her please." Leo smiled and a holographic map appeared. Reyna ran up to try and catch up and I told Festus to leave.
Reyna screamed something and I didn't look back. I neeeded to get away. That place had caused my to many painful memories.
*FLASHBACK END*
I coughed and Festus roared on the beach. Calypso walked up to me. "Did it happen again?" She asked and I nodded, out of breath.
