Chapter Tres, Catch Me

Elijah was in the study reading when Hayley walked in and positioned herself in front of Elijah

" Elijah" she said smiling

" Hayley what can I do for you" he said returning a smile

" well I'm bored being stuck in this house and was hoping you could take my mind of the boredom"

" it would be my pleasure" while Hayley's time here since the moment they first  spoke he has began to grow to like her and her didn't know if it were the fact she was carrying his future niece or if it were just her. She and elijah have gotten closer then expected and if elijah didn't know better he would say he was starting to feel something for her.

" let's go outside to the garden , I'm bored stuck in this house"

" alright" elijah said while setting his book on the shelf and then escorting Hayley outside

" let's play a game" Hayley said smiling with an idea in her head though to the average person you would think it's stupid and childish to offer to play a game with the originals who have leaved so long that you would imagine they would have no mood to play a game but while Hayley's short time here she was shown that there's a less cruel side to them a nicer more sweet one especially with Elijah who she had gotten closer with and all honest had to admit to her self she was falling for him

" what game"

Hayley ran off but stopped when elijah wasn't following " your supposed to catch me" Hayley said then ran off again with a smile on her face

Elijah ran after Hayley at a normal speed deciding to take it slow and actually let her have fun but while he was running after her. His mind drifted off to a time very similar to this but so very long ago a calmer time well for the most part a calmer time when he played this game before with a young beautiful human girl

Katherine was running and giggling when she turned around and noticed elijah wasn't trying to catch her

" your suppose to catch me"

" but then the game will be over" elijah said smiling
