Chapter 11

Perrie's POV

  As I watch my dad back away from Jade, I stifle a laugh. I've never seen him like this, he looks genuinely confused. "You will leave now because we are on a date!" Jade yells at him, and he honestly was about to leave. My dad was never as mad at me, as my mom for my sexuality.

Of course my mam steps in at this point. "This is our property" she tells Jade disgusted. "Fine." Jade says with a smile. She walks over to me and grass my hand lacing our fingers together, "Bye bitches" she throws over her shoulder as she's leading me out... Wow.

As we walk to my car we're silent. We finally arrive at the car and get in. I look over at her and see she's in deep thought. I rest my hand on her thigh to get her attention, which works because she says "I'm sorry" I look at her confused, why's she sorry? "Why's that?" I ask. "Now your parents will probably never approve of us. And they may even hate you now because of what I've done" she says sadly. "Hey listen to me" I take her chin in my hand, "even if you met them at a fancy restaurant surrounded by world leaders.. they wouldn't approve. They don't like me anyhow" I tell her. "I don't understand how they couldn't like you though. You're their daughter" I smile sadly, I've wondered the same thing.

  I look at her with sad eyes and blink back tears, she must have noticed because she reached over and gave me a hug. "I'm so sorry" she whispers in my ear. I can't bring myself to say anything I just hold onto her. I'm full on sobbing into her shoulder, "shh listen baby, it's okay. You're going to be fine, they don't know what they're missing" she comforts. "Sorry-" I go to pull back, but she cuts me off by pulling me closer. "Don't apologize" I just enjoy her presence for now because, no ones ever seen this side of me.

  She unbuckled her seatbelt and got out of the car. Instead of asking what she was doing I rest my head on the steering wheel. I lift my head when I hear my door open, I look up to see Jade. She says nothing only reaches over me and unbuckles my seatbelt too, what's she doing. I look at her strange but she says nothing. She grabs my hand and pulls me up. She hugs me and I gratefully hug back.

She leads me over to the passenger seat, "what're you doing?" I ask. "You're in no shape to drive. And I can hear your parents in the woods, and you're in no state to see them. Not now at least" she tells me. I just nod my head understandably and let her buckle my seatbelt. She's so kind. I watch her walk around the car and get into the drivers seat. And in no time we're pulling out, just in time too.

  The car ride was rather silent, I'm not feeling the best I just need to feel her touch right now, so I reach over and grab her hand without a word. She smiles at the gesture, but keeps her attention forward on the road. "Jade?" I whisper looking closely at her. She turns her head slightly, "Yeah?" "I'm sorry, our date was ruined.." I say disappointed in myself. She brings our connected hands to her face and kisses the back of my hand. "It's not ruined. We just stay in bed all day watching movies, and it's be perfect. As long as I'm with you" she tells me sincerely. I softly smile, what did I ever do to deserve her?

We stop at a red light and she looks over at me, but I'm already looking so I quickly look away. I hear her chuckle, "you know, since I've met your parents I think it's only fair you meet mine" I freeze. "Jade.. but, they might know I'm your teacher" I say nervously. "You think they have anything to do with my schooling? I'm an adult and moved out" she laughs. "Well.. yeah but-" "we don't have to" she says quickly. Did I make her upset?

We arrive at back my house, in a very uncomfortable silence might I add. She gets out of the car and goes over to her car. Is she leaving!? "Jade!" I rush after her. "What?" She asks. "A-Are you mad at me?" I ask shyly. "No" is all she says before getting into her car and starting it. "Where are you going?" I ask sadly. "I'll be back. I have to go get something from my house" she tells me. She leans up and kisses me softly for a few seconds before pulling back and putting her seatbelt on. "Okay" I say quietly as she pulls out of my driveway.
