Chapter 20

Jade's POV

~~~~~~A Week Later~~~~~~

   So it's safe to say I've been fucking dead without Perrie. In class I've been quiet, still not doing anything, just staring at her hoping she'll realize I exist. My own girlfriend pays no attention to me.. It's been a week since we've held an actual conversation, or argument as it's actually called. I don't understand how she intelligent she is and but still doesn't even see how that man is trying to replace me. She insists he's only a friend.. but how can I believe that when he looks at her the way only I should? How could I believe it when he's kissed the soft lips, lips that only I should taste?

So right now I'm at Leigh's house, I've told her everything about Perrie and I and she went mad! Jumping up and down when I told her I was dating Miss. Edwards, but she soon stopped when I mentioned the fact we're having some problems. She listened to me intently and told me her opinion on the situation.

Here she comes! "Jade!" She jumps on the bed beside me. "What?" I giggle and lay down next to her. "How was class today? Ariana told me she held you after class" correction, she tried. "Well she caught me on my phone. She told me to stay after class, but I just left with everyone else" I tell her. "Jade! She might have wanted to talk to you! About not such school related subjects!" She says annoyed at me for not staying. "She's going to have to try harder than that" I say. She gives me a sympathetic smile, "she will. I can tell she loves you, I see her in the halls looking our direction all the time. And I know you love her" she says slowly. I sigh out, "I do love her"

"But, You can't let her ruin your relationship with Alex. Maybe she just doesn't see it, but that's obviously what he's trying to do. He came to class the other day, not going to lie, he's cute. BUT he's not you, and you should be the only person to act all lovey dovey with her. He kept trying to and it made me sick, but Miss Edwards didn't allow him to go any further than a hug. He kept trying to hold her hand but she didn't let him. He tried to kiss her on the cheek too, but again, she didn't permit it to happen. Jade she does love you, and it's very clear to me. She may have made some mistakes, but I'm sure many more will come from the both of you in the future. Because if you chose to end it over some stupid friend.. I will kill you!" She says. I smile at her and jump into her arms. "What would I do without you Leigh?" I whisper.

We stay hugging for a minute until I hear my phone go off. Probably another text from Perrie. I give Leigh an uncertain look, I've been avoiding all calls and texts from her since the day I left. I have twenty two unread messages and twenty five missed calls. I don't know if I should answer because I don't want to answer and hear the words "it's over" it would break my heart, so I won't answer. But I feel like maybe I should answer, just this once.

"Go on babe, I'll be right here. Listen to what she has to say. Then you can move forward in whatever way is needed. But I promise, you're going to survive" Leigh tells me quietly. I give a quick kiss to her cheek and get my phone. So many messages to read!

Pez♥️: It's so strange not having you beside me when I wake up. I miss how you felt in my arms throughout the night. I couldn't sleep. I hope maybe we can talk at school..? I still love you Jade.

Pez♥️: I know you're avoiding me at all costs because I saw you on your phone. I understand though. I shouldn't have to make you feel you're in competition with anyone else. When I saw you today, you still had the same effect on me as the first day of school. My heart skipped a beat when I saw you looking absolutely beautiful in that dress. My goal is to see you in a dress years from now, but it's going to be white and have a vail. Or whatever kind of wedding dress you want, it's up to you. You can choose a blue dress and still look flawless. I want to marry you, I love you Jade Amelia.
