Perrie's POV
We had just finished with track practice and I'm exhausted. It's pretty tiring having to keep Jade down when all she wants to do is get up. She's very stubborn in that department.
As I help Jade to the car I make sure she's able to walk, see, and hear perfectly fine before I let her drive. She passed out earlier, only for about forty seconds or so, nothing awful but I still want to make sure she's fine. "I'm alright Pez. I swear" she laughs as she gets in her car. "Alright alright, be careful. If you feel off at any point pull over and call me. Got it?" She rolls her eyes "got it." I smile and shut her door walking over to my car.
I watch her pull out before I do so as well. I decide to stop by Nandos to grab something quick to eat. I pick out a variety of things because you can't go wrong with food. I go up to the counter and pay thanking them on the way out.
As I drive back to the house I get an email. I pull over to check it, it's telling me Jade's security system has arrived. I can't help but feel a little disappointed, I enjoy having Jade stay at my house.
Me: Hey baby, can you check the porch? Your security system has arrived.
Jadey♥️: Are you driving!?
Me: No darling
Jadey♥️: Then where are you?
Me: I just went out to get us some food.
Jadey♥️: okay good I'm starving.
Me: Baby grab a snack to hold you over! I'll be about twenty minutes.
Jadey♥️: I'm fine love
Me: Jade, I don't want you going hungry..
Jadey♥️: I'll be fine.
Me: .. okay. Get the system off the porch. I'll be there soon.
Jadey♥️: Okay. Be careful.I smile at our conversation, she's such a sweetheart. "What are you doing to me Jade?" I ask myself. It's a wonder, her, she's a wonder.
Starting the car back up I drive back to the house. As I pull into the driveway I see a package on the porch. What do you know, Jade didn't come get it, surprise surprise. "Jade!?" I call out as I open the door carrying the package in. "Hey babe!" She greets walking out of the living room. "Oh sorry I forgot" I says as she points to the box I hold in my hand. "Yeah okay, you probably just don't want to leave" I tease. "Ppsshh are you kidding me!? I can't wait to leave" she jokes with a huge smile. I join in on the laughter and set the stuff down.
Going into the kitchen I put the food on the table. Jade reaches up to get some plates, but she's a little too short. "I'll get it baby" I say over my shoulder as I watch her stand on her tiptoes trying to reach. "I've got it" She tells me. But as soon as she says that there was a huge crashing sound. "Oowww!! Fuck!" I hear her curse. I hurriedly spin around to see glass surrounding her and her foot bleeding terribly.
I still have my shoes on so I rush over to her and lift her putting her on the counter and out of the glass. "Sorry.." she mumbled. "It's fine princess" I assure her. I see tears in her eyes and she's holding her foot tight. "Aww baby" I coo and lift her into my arms. She puts her head in the crook of my neck and holds onto me tightly. I carry her up to the bathroom in our room- my room! 'Goodness Perrie get yourself together!'
I sit her on the counter top while I pull out some medicine. "It's hurts! Damn it!" She cries. "I know baby. Just hold on" I say putting some gel around the wound that still holds glass. "Jade I think you need to go to the hospital" I say. "No! I'm fine!" She wipes her tears. "Babe.. it's not looking good." I tell her. "Give me the stuff damn it! I'll do it myself!" She snatched the supplies out of my hand. Well that's rude! I decide to just let it slide because she's in pain.
I roll my eyes and walk out of the bathroom and into the kitchen to clean up the broken plates there. "Man! I really liked those plates too" I mutter under my breath. I carefully pick up the shards and make sure there's nothing left of it.
