We were going to see the only people we trusted. Haley, and dalton.
" Im going to megans" Madison shouted from down the road.
" Whatever" I screamed back.
Once I slowly made my way up haleys hill I arrived at her front porch. I stood there for a secound just pondering on about nothing important.
I looked up and down her long narrow wooded porch but couldnt find her so I decided to ring the doorbell.
"Hello" A frail voice spoke
" Umm... ye... yess, Im here to speak to haley" I try to make my voice sound confident but it came out more as a wimper.
" Yes, of course, one secound." The women left, the wired door frame standing open, so I could see inside.
There were finely finished, shiny, brown wood table tops, and the perfect marble counter tops.
" I wish I lived in a place like that" I said to myself as I waited patiently by the door.
Haley arrived at the doorway with a glass of juice and some cookies for us to share as we swung on her white splintery porch swing.
Together we talked about our problems.
