Tired, and drainded I opened the metal door to my trailer home. Inside my mother, and 4 of her friends stood. Suprisingly, she was home. Dalton, Bryan, and the old man sat on the couch, Evelyn on a beer cooler; with a cig in her mouth.
Bryan was my boyfriend. I diddnt really like him, I only dated him so he could fill the emptyness I felt in my heart, and to cure the lonlyness I had.
" Hi." I said blankly to bryan.
" Hey." He waved back.
" Umm... Mom " The words came out wobbly from my dry lips.
" Get to bed" Evelyn said as the took my hand and led me to her bedroom with a bag of doritos, and a sprite.
I took a few bites before conking out, the darkness swallowing me whole.
" Rise and shine." Evelyn said to me as I rolled over to meet her gaze.
The light outside was unbarable, the blinds only opened a little bit, but the light came in like blazing fire. It was summer I guess.
My feet touched the cold tile as I lifted myself off the bed.
" Im going out" I told mother while slipping on a pair of jean shorts, and a plain yellow t-shirt.
There was no need for shoes so I left them home on the carpeted living room floor.
* Ding dong*
" What." Bryan propelled from his tired mouth.
" Im going swimming, wanna come or not?" I said a little sternly, irration creeping up my spine.
" Yeah, give me a sec." He said to me while pulling on a pair of blue swim trunks, and yanking his shirt off and throwing it on the floor, leaving it behind.
" Okayy...", I said awkwardly as he opened the screen door and connected his arm with my waist.
Its time to go.
