It was only yesterday when I was four years old and in a pretty pink Easter dress
It was only yesterday when I graduated kindergarten my first achievement.
It was only yesterday that I learned to spell my name and I was so proud.
It was only yesterday when I had trouble in school and was helped by a teacher who ended up changing my life.
It was only yesterday I was introduced into the world of drama with the play "toy store."
It was only yesterday when I played basketball with my brother cause I was too jittery to sit on the bench watching.
It was only yesterday when I hit puberty. What a crazy thing.
It was only yesterday when I started middle school.
It was only yesterday when I made my first true friends.
It was only yesterday when I conquered the hardest 8th grade class.
It was only yesterday when I made it into all district band.
It was only yesterday when I started high school.
It was only yesterday when I turned 16
It was only yesterday when I turned 18
And tomorrow. Tomorrow I am officially an adult. No more parental supervision. No more freedom.
