When walking to Polis, Bellamy stayed behind everyone to make sure nothing had happened. Clarke stood next to Lexa. "He is a protector" Lexa said. Clarke was confused.
"Bellamy?" She pointed to him. Lexa nodded. Her emotion was the same through every conversation she had with Clarke. "No" Clarke replied. "He's just stubborn. Kind of an asshole too." Clarke smirked. Lexa grinned . "What do you know? You can smile." Lexa returned to her natural state after Clarke had said that. They didn't talk the rest of the way.
Once they entered Polis they went straight to a big building , where Lexa had lived. Lexa took Bellamy and Clarke to a room with two beds on opposite sides of the room from another. Once she left, Clarke lied on the bed. "It feels great to lay on something that's not the ground!" She smiled and turned on the bed.
Bellamy laughed under his breath. Then came to seriousness. "How long do we have to stay here. I don't trust these people." He lied against the window looking over a valley. The window was basically just a hole . "I don't like their interior design ether." He pointed to the so called window.
Clarke laughed then got up. "We just need to talk to the council."
"Which is?" Bellamy questioned her . Clarke rolled her eyes.
"Just trust me. Please" Clarke begged putting her hands in a prayer.
"Ok" Bellamy took his knife out of  his pocket and put it on Clarkes bed. Two enemies, were now two great allies.
The next morning, Clarke, Bellamy, Lexa, and a governor from each clan ate breakfast at a long table. They discussed peace. It was mostly Clarke, she talked the majority of the time. Meanwhile, Bellamy ate. Once they were done, it was just Lexa, Clarke and Bellamy in the room.
"Yay!" Clarke smiled and started to talk to Bellamy. "Earth is shaping out pretty well." She laughed, then felt a pain in her ankle, but this time it started to go to her knee.
Bellamy laughed . "Ditto." Clarke nodded.
"No more worrying about dying or Lincoln." Clarke immediately realized what she said. Bellamy looked at her confused.
"Lincoln?" Bellamy placed things together, Clarke could tell. "The grounder, you knew him, you knew this was going to happen." Bellamys voice got deeper. Clarke didn't know what to say. He looked at Clarke waiting for an explanation.
"When we were looking for Octavia, I left while you were sleeping. Octavia and Lincoln were together. That's the only time I'd see him." Clarke was trying to calm him down.
               Bellamy was furious. "You knew
where she was?" Clarke looked down. "I trusted you. And all you did was lie." Bellamys voice sounded less and less like it did before. His face looked disgusted. "I'm getting out of here." He turned around.
"At least I'm not selfish!" Clarke yelled back at him. He turned around with a confused look on his face. "I lied to protect people, meanwhile all you care about is yourself!" Clarke felt her knees giving out, but she didn't want to appear as weak.
"The reason I'm here, is to protect my sister. There's nothing selfish about that." Bellamy proved Clarke. Before Clarke could say anything, the room started to close in on her. Then, darkness. She had fell on the floor. Bellamy ran over to her. "Clarke?" He lifted up her face. "Someone help! Lexa !" He yelled.
Lexa ran over and her face grew concerned. "Healer!" She demanded. A man came in and carried Clarke to her bed. For 10 minutes the healer did test on Clarke while she was asleep. Bellamy sat there watching, Lexa came in. "You may leave now. She'll be awake soon enough."
Bellamy looked at Lexa than at Clarke, "I'll stay here." Bellamy gave a sassy tone to Lexa, which annoyed her.
"Very well." Lexa looked down, than back up at Bellamy. "I have a civilization to rule, enjoy sitting." Lexa then walked away.
Bellamy spent the rest of the day sitting and waiting for Clarke to wake up. He fell asleep around midnight. Lexa came in around dawn. There, Clarke began to wake up.
Lexa rushed to her with water. "Here drink some." Clarke was still half asleep, but Lexa  held her head as she drank . "How was your slumber?"
Clarke slouched. "Super." She noticed Bellamy asleep across the room. "I should get ready to go though, when he wakes up he's going to want to go." Clarke raised her hands up trying to wake herself up some more.
"Why?" Lexa questioned. Clarke looked at her, confused. "Why does he want to leave?"
"He has a sister." Clarke replied. Lexa didn't understand.
"And?" Lexa looked unamused. "I had 2 sisters and 3 brothers." Once Clarke heard that, she was all the way awake.
"What!" Clarke was amazed. "In space you can't have siblings, Bellamy and his sister are special." Clarke looked at Bellamy.
"My siblings and I all fought for the crown." Lexa looked out the window. "It's tradition."
Clarke thought that was the stupidest thing, but she didn't say that. "Thank you." Clarke said. "For this. If the rest of our people come down, they'll be surprised what delinquents did." Clarke gave a little laugh.
"Sometimes bad people do good things."Lexa looked at Clarke. "Other times , good people do bad things to protect someone." Clarke looked down. Bellamy started to wake up.
"Clarke?" He said rubbing his eyes. "Your awake!" He got up.
Clarke got up as well. "Yea." She looked at Lexa. "You ready to go?"
Bellamy was so relieved to hear that. "Hell yes." Clarke and Bellamy then left. They did not talk about their fight. They got along on the way back. Everything seemed perfect, until they were almost at the drop ship. The beginning, of a tragedy was about to happen.
