People in Polis gathered around a raised platform. There was 6 hours before the recarnation began, but people left candles and other mementos. Clarke looked out from the throne room, which was now hers.
Her, Abby and other servants sat in silence. Bellamy entered with Octavia behind him. Octavia looked around the room and rolled her eyes. "I can't believe your going to run Polis."
          "Octavia" Bellamy snapped back.
"No it's ok." Clarke replied. Abby watched in the corner folding sheets. "I can't believe it ether. Which is why I need your help."
Octavia squinted her eyes. "What?" She said confused.
"Your one of the bravest people I know." Clarke chuckled. "I need someone to help me not ruin everything." Octavia didn't seem impressed. "You and Lincoln could live here, general the army."
"Okay I'm in." Octavia slouched. She looked more like a grounder than anyone from the ark. "Bell told me about." Octavia looked at Clarkes stomach.
Clarke avoided that subject. "Any word of Raven?" Abby walked out from the corner.
"She's been in the lab, not talking to anyone." Abby opened a window.
"I'll check on her." Clarke left. In the hallway Bellamy called her from behind. She turned around. Bellamy lifted her from her feet. She laughed. "Bellamy stop" Clarke giggled.
He put her down. "How are you doing." He placed her hands in his.
"I'm fine." She looked up at him. He was worried about her. "Seriously, Bellamy don't worry about me. Go live life."
Clarke nudged her head towards the exit of the tower. He smiled and left. Clarke entered the lab. Raven was on the computer reading and typing like crazy. There were books and papers all around her.
"Hey." Clarke stepped closer. Raven ignored her. "Raven you cant act up like this. Like after Finn and now Lexa."
Raven got up furiously. "How can you even say their names?" Ravens eyes were red and her bags were dark. "Your could have saved Finn! You killed him! Now your replacing like that." Raven snapped her fingers. "Do not tell me I'm acting out because I could have killed you by now with what you've done." Raven turned around and sat back down looking at the monitor.
Clarke was speechless. She sobbed and ran out the door. Octavia walked by. "Woah Clarke." Clarke was kneeling against a wall. Octavia squated next to Clarke.
"I can't do this. I'm not ment for this." Clarke soaked.
Octavia sighed. "Listen, Clarke, on the ark in prison you were probably the bravest delinquent. No one would back talk you. You were shocked back to life. Your pretty badass." Clarke gave a light smile. "You saved our asses to many times. You also protect my older brother." Octavia paused. "Your the best person to lead out there."
Clarke put her head up. "Thank you Octavia." Octavia smiled and stood up. Lincoln walked to them. Octavia hugged him tightly. Clarke left back to the throne room.
It was time. Everyone in Polis gathered in front of the podium. Lexas second began, "Hello everyone. As you all know Lexa has passed, she will be missed dearly. Her spirt had chosen another warrior to be our commander." Lexas second walked behind Clarke.
Clarke stepped forward. "Lexa was a great leader, she believed in peace, love" Clarke tried looking for Raven, she wasn't there. "And she will be remembered by everyone of her ways." Clarke looked in the front, Bellamy was smiling at her. "My name is Clarke. Clarke Griffin. I will be your new commander and I promise to lead you with honor and integrity, along with my second, Octavia Blake." Octavia walked to the podium. Clarke grabbed Octavia hand and held to it to the sky. Everyone roared.
In the lab Raven was still on the computer. "What's up Raven." Murphy called out entering.
Raven rolled her eyes. Without turning around she replied. "Go away Murphy."
"Ouch, where's the love?" Murphy chuckled. Raven ignored him. "I need help." Raven turned around and slouched at him. He pulled up his shirt sleeve. "What's this rash from?"
"Why do you think I'd know?" Raven questioned.
"You work with Abby don't you?" Murphy stepped closer.
"She doesn't teach me that stuff, now go away." She turned back around to the screen.
"Raven you have to know something." He begged.
"I don't. Go away." She demanded.
Murphy paused. "Listen Raven, I know she died. And I'm pretty sure you loved her so Im betting your looking at health issues to know why she died." Raven was speechless. She turned to him, looking so confused. "My mom died my over dose, I researched about drugs for months."
Raven walked up to him and aggressively grabbed his arm and observed it. "When's the last time you drank clean water?" Raven asked.
"I don't know I've just been drinking from random rivers or wholes." Murphy shrugged.
"You need clean water. Now leave." Raven turned around and kept searching on the computer. Murphy left.
In Clarkes room, Abby Bellamy Octavia and her stood at talked. "How are we going to keep you a secret?" Bellamy asked.
"Just keep being in public until you see major physical changes, than start wearing baggier clothes. Once your to noticeable, we can say your ill." Octavia suggested.
"Lie?" Abby said disgustingly.
"If they find out about our child, he or she will be couraged to fight and kill, I'm not letting that happen."
"And when the child is born? Than what?" Abby was furious.
Everyone was quiet. "We will figure something out." Clarke shouted. Abby walked out slamming the door.
Octavia left soon after. Clarke looked out the window. Bellamy stood next to her. "I'm their leader. Months ago I was running from some of them who were trying to shoot me." Clarke smiled.
"Well they should be glad I saved your ass than." Bellamy laughed. The two stared on the window for what seemed like forever. "My mom used to say Earth was filled with cars and sky scrapers, but for some reason this view is way more beautiful." Bellamy looked at Clarke.
"Really? Because I thought Polis looked kinda trashy." Clarke looked at Polis.
Bellamy laughed, Clarke turned to him. "I was talking about you." Clarke giggled.
Clarke saw a journal lying on the ground in a corner, she walked to it, it was Lexas. "You should leave, I'm going to try to give this to Raven." Bellamy nodded.
Raven was still infront of the computer. Abby was cleaning doctor tools as Murphy tried sneaking in. "Excuse me, John Murphy this area is not for you." Abby yelled.
Clarke walked in, "Raven!" Raven turned and rolled her eyes at Clarke.
Murphy rolled his eyes at Abby. "Do you want to be banned from Polis?" Abby stepped loser to Murphy.
Murphy looked scared. "Abby , it's ok he's helping me with something." Raven chimed in.
Abby looked at Raven than at Murphy. "Well than, I'm sorry." Abby started walking to Clarke. "Clarke you should start to go to bed.
"Give me one sec." Clarke nodded. Abby left the lab. Murphy was about to walk closer to Raven before Clarke grabbed his arm. "Give this to her, please." She handed him lexas journal. He nodded.
Clarke could never feel happy, not talking to Raven, her mom, Murphy, but one person made her smile.
