Ravenclaw Princess [Book 1]

Chapter 1

I was sitting at my desk, holding a latter in my hand. My short dark brown hair was flowing around my head. The house was nice and quiet. My father was at his job at the Ministry of Magic. He's a highly trained auror. My mother died when I was little. I didn't know how she was like but dad told me that mom was a great person that she was kind and joyful. In my pretty happy family I was the only child.

My hazel eyes dashed over the writing. The letter was an invitation to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. I should start writing back to the school so I start writing the letter then gave the letter to my family owl, Lila. I gave an owl a treat and then the letter, the owl seem to know what to do so it just flew out of the window. I just watched it fly away until it was too far to see.

I walked out of my room and went downstairs to my library where I usually go for most of my times to find a good book to read. You can get lost over all the book there was there. In the middle of the room was a desk that was carved from some special materials that had been used by Moonstones for over centuries. On the right wall there was a fireplace, it was made from marble it was a perfect size for a human to walk through.

Suddenly, the fireplace turned green and a red haired figure stumbled out of the fireplace. I rushed up and gave him a hug.

'Hello, Alexa. Did your letter come yet?' Blaze asked

I pulled back from the hug and step back.

'Yep, I just sent a letter replying back' I replied back

'That's great!'

'So, why are you here Blaze?' I asked

'I was wondering if you would like to go to Diagon Alley to buy supplies with me'

'Sure, I just need to write a quick letter to my dad to tell him that I'm going to go with you' I said

I walked to the desk that was in the middle of the room and took out a parchment and quill. And started write.

Dear Dad,

I'm going to attend Hogwarts with Blaze and Brizzy. Blaze dropped by and invited me to go shopping with him at Diagon Alley. I hope work is well. Stay Safe.

I folded up the letter and gave it to Lila. I watched as she flew out of the window. I turned around. And opened a drawer in the desk and took out some money. I walked up to the fireplace and grab some Floo Powder. I took Blaze's hand and poured it in. 'You can go first' I told him. He nodded and walked into the fireplace.

'DIAGON ALLEY!' he shouted. Green flames came up and took him away. I walked into the fireplace next. 'DIAGON ALLEY!' I shouted as I dropped the powder. The green flame engulfed me as I was taken away from the Moonstone Mansion.
