Friday. Summer. Richie, Eddie and Bill scramble on the last bell out of their classrooms, blabbing on about Stan and his ceremony. He swiftly pulls up behind them and brings clarity and the boys sigh in relief. Richie spots a prime opportunity to throw in a pun when he's cut short by the sharp stare of Henry Bowers. The boys slow down as they watch him like zebra watching lions. It seems as this moment passes in slow motion as Bowers makes stern eye contact with all four of them in the time they stumble past. Eddie tuggs his friends along as he spots Henry shuffle and stand up straight. The boys gulp as Henry glances over. He opens his arms and greets someone with a hug. And a kiss,
"Bowers has a girlfriend?" Richie scoffs wide eyed before he gets ripped away by the others. They finally make it outside and away from the river of people, thourorly clean out their bags into the trash and breathe a sigh of relief. Summer. Time to have fun,
"Best feeling ever!" Stan grins as he watches his school stuff fall into a black oblivion,
"Yeah? Try tickling your pickle for the first time!" Richie holds his hand up for a high five and all he gets is a glare of disbelief. He drops his arm and huffs. They joke about summer and what they could do together, they decide to go to the quarry. Then the Barrens- Tug. Bof.
"Nice frisbee flamer!"
