The shine of the morning star awoken Virgil's sight
He grumbled and rolled over to his right, Roman wasn't there.
The curious boy raised his head with his messy hair, some hanging down to his brows
Virgil rubbed his eyes as his head started to feel heavy

He looked around, still no sign of him.
His purple and black jacket rested on a little table
Virgil tried to stand up and walked over to the balcony
The trees swayed as a faint breeze flew by

"You're up early"
He recognized that voice, Roman, with his hand on one side of his hip

"Oh.. Where have you been anyway?"
Roman walked closer to him, his shadow growing taller

"Don't worry I just set a surprise downstairs"
"Like this isn't?"

Virgil smiled, confused
Roman smirked and leaned in for a kiss on the nose
He grabbed a long white cloth from his pant pocket and wrapped it around Virgil's eyes

"You'll love this"
"Hold on, how am I going to get down there when I'm blindfolded, hm?"
"Oh yeahhhh, but promise to close your eyes once you step down"
"Promise"

They climbed down the wooden ladder that held little splinters
Virgil's sight was covered and they stomped on leaves
  The cluster of leaves that were scattered made a crunch like sound when stepped on
Goosebumps filled Virgil with excitement as he waits

"And.. there"
The cloth was removed and what he saw was with awe
A patterned picnic mat.
Fairy lights lit up while the dawn lingers.
Comfy blankets to cuddle in.

"Wow.. I... I didn't expect this"
"Yep, took me all morning, well hey at least you like it"

"Wrong."
"Hm?"
"I love it."
"Well"

Roman clutches Virgil's warm hand as he felt respected
"I love you."
"I Love you too."

"Do you think Talyn's ok?"
"Of course, she's a tough cookie
Roman smirked, sending off the compliment

"Well, let's go"
Virgil grunted as more goosebumps covered his body
He stood up and tidied up

"It's too early~"
Roman said lying down, relaxing

"Oh come on, let's just stroll around, and besides there's school tomorrow"
"Alright"

They were ready, and got back to Roman's house, and took a bath
Roman locked the door, and held Virgil's hand
"Let's go?"
"Let's"

They stepped into the sun as their faces showed bliss
They walked for a short distance and saw a little cart that played a catchy tune
Both of them walked towards it and the seller jumped up from his feet

"Hello, young lads! What can I do for you?"
He said cheerfully
"Uh, can we have 2 ice creams?"
"Sure thing, flavors are on the top"
The man said, pointing to a hanging menu that was stuck to the cart
"I'll have chocolate please"
Roman said, his cheeks looking chubbier as he put up a smile
"I guess I'll have chocolate too then"

Virgil held his hand, the hand that showed a star, the one that proved destiny
The man scooped on the ice cream, while Virgil thanked for his prince

"Here ya go!"
He handed them the cones designed like a waffle
"How much?"
Roman let go in the meantime, reaching for his wallet
"Say, aren't you kids dating?"
