Carmen They've done it, they really finally have. My parents have achieved what seems to be their all time life goal. I'm on the brink of extinction, three millimeters away from throwing myself off the top of my bunk bed onto the floor and bleeding to death right here and now.
I have zero sympathy left for my father. I mean my evil mother makes all the decisions around here, and all he can seem to accomplish is sitting like a duck on a pond and watching her yell at me for not buying her frosted flakes at Costco.
"Carmen Annalise Casanova, you had one job!" She stomps around the kitchen.
My dad lets out a soft laugh. I glare at him, and he only shrugs.
