1 week later.
"Headmaster!" Umbridge caught up with Albus as he headed to see Minerva in the hospital wing. The students and staff were aware that Minerva was in fact sick snd most likely wouldn't be teaching for some time.
"Ah, Dolores. What can I do for you..." He answered politely as the walked side by side down the student filled corridor.
"Well....I am aware that Minerva is very sick. And this school is in need of a headmistress, I am more than qualified to take her place a-
"Dolores....I can assure you. Even sick, Minerva is still the headmistress and until deemed dead she will remain in that position. Good day." He said walking into the hospital wing leaving Umbridge standing flabbergasted in the hallway, he didn't even want the thought of losing Minerva crossing his mind. Albus walked to the back of the wing and entered Minerva's privet room. She looked up from the paper and smiled at him.
"Albus..." She said softly as he walked to her side. He leaned down and placed a soft kiss on the top of her head.
"How do you feel today?" he asked sitting on the edge of her bed. Minerva folded up her glasses and put the paper down on the bedside table. He was looking her over, she had lost a lot of weight, her cheeks were starting to sink in, and her skin was a pale ashy colour.
"I don't know why Poppy is keeping me cooped up here! I feel fine!" She said, Albus chuckled and shook his head. She curled her lips into a slight grin and placed her hand on his cheek, he leaned his head into her hand.
"Albus....get me out of here." She begged. Albus chuckled again.
"I can't Min, not until Poppy clears you." He said and his wife let out a huff. Minerva looked into Albus' eyes and saw his worry and sadness, she wished things would work out better for both of them but there was nothing she could do.
"Don't be sad Albus...It doesn't suit you." She said rubbing his arm.
"How can I not be Minerva." He asked sadly. Minerva looked him over, he had always been a soft hearted man and this was definitely going to break him. She pulled him into her, letting him lay his head on her chest.
"Everything will be okay Albus...." She whispered holding him tightly. She caressed the side of his face occasionally twirling her fingers in his hair. Albus lifted his head smiled at her, trying to map out everything on her face and remember every single little detail he could. Just then there was a knock at the door, it popped open and Poppy's face appeared, Minerva got up out of the bed and her friend rushed to her.
"Poppy I am leaving! This is ridiculous I have classes to teach." She said starting to gather her things. Poppy protested and tried to get her to lay back down but nothing could hold Minerva.
"I know I wont be able to keep you here! But please take it easy Min!" Poppy begged, Minerva easily dismissed her and continued collecting her things. Minerva walked out of her room and waltzed out of the hospital wing leaving Poppy and Albus in the dust.
Poppy looked back at Albus and shook her head. "Minerva Mcgonagall is one stubborn old battle axe..." Both lightly chuckled.

3 days later"How are you feeling today Min..." Albus asked as he brought her a cup of tea. She had taught her classes for the first time in a few weeks, she was a little exhausted but nothing too extreme.
"Im fine..." She replied sipping her tea. The room stayed silent for a few moments, the occasional slurp could be heard.
"Albus.." Minerva called softly. He looked up from the paper and raised his eyebrows.
