I started to sit up and noticed one of the faces that I had dreams about.  She was actually part of my everyday life.  It was my headmistress from the school I go to, she started having me eat lunch with her after some of the kids found out that I was an orphan, and made fun of me at lunch.  Then I saw the Doctor with Clara, talking to the Headmiss.  The Doctor looked, sad as if someone had died, but multiplied by three and a half times.  Clara had her hand on his shoulder, and the Headmiss was trying to keep him from crying, or doing something he would regret latter, or possibly both by the looks of it.  I started to stand up, despite the fact that my body was protesting at every movement.  Clara glanced over and saw me, and let go of the Doctor’s shoulder.  Shortly after the Headmiss glanced over and saw me attempting to come over, and put her own hand where Clara’s used to be.
Clara must have known what I was trying to do, because she helped me get over to the Doctor.  When we got to the Doctor, the Headmiss took her hand off the Doctor’s shoulder, and whispered to me “He needs a little cheering up, let him know he’s loved, and so forth.”  I gave her a slight smile, and then walked toward the Doctor and asked “Dad, are you alright?”  The Doctor looked at me and I saw thoughs same fear filled eyes (that got doubled by the fact that they had added on sadness).  I came a little closer and hugged him.  “Why are you sad?”  I asked in a tone that pain in it.  The Doctor answered “Your orphanage…it blew up” he said in a shaky tone, that meant he was about to cry “it blew up with Rose, Jenny, and Jack in it.”  I could tell he was in shock, but then I remembered Jack.  “Wait, you mean Jack as in Captain Jack Harkness, who wears a vortex manipulator that can teleport, and or time travel!”  The Doctor sprung alive into action, I could see a glimmer of hope with a grin added to it.  We ran to the room with a consul, the Doctor started pushing buttons and pulling levers.  The room started to shake, then the shaking stopped as the Doctor pulled a lever down.  Then he started toward the door, then stopped about a foot from the door and said “Well come on then!”  We started running out the door, when we got out the door, the sun blinded me.  When my eyes adjusted I could see a field of tall grass, and the sky was a pretty purplish blue.  All I could say was “Wow.”
“Planet Messalean, it got terraformed back in my last incarnation, it turned out nice.”  The Doctor nodded in accomplishment.  “Melody, you’re ok!  Oh, I’m glad to see it!”  A girl with blond hair ran up to me, and then hugged me.  I looked at the Doctor with a puzzled look, he smiled and mouthed the words “She’s your older sister.”  Then I mouthed back “Oh.”
“Ok Jenny, you can stop squeezing her to death.”  Jenny stopped hugging me and ran over to the Doctor and started hugging him “You’re just jealous she got the hug first, and you didn’t.  I was her science teacher you know.”  The Doctor was blushing “I’m not jealous.”  The Headmiss started laughing and said “Oh, sweetie we all know you’re jealous.”  I looked in confusion at the Headmiss, why was she calling dad sweetie, and why was she coming with us, was she grading me on something, or did she have a thing for my dad?  “This is to confusing?!”  I said out loud when I meant to scream it in my head.  The Doctor and the Headmiss looked up from there flirting “You tell her?”
“Of course I didn’t, I’ve been a bit busy recently with you, Rose, Jenny, and Jack.  By the way, where are Jack and Rose?”
“They left a week ago.  Jack thought it was best if they went a week into the future from the day of the explosion.”  Jenny said softly.  “Well then, we better be going.”  The Doctor said mockingly walking toward the Tardis.  The Headmiss coughed at the Doctor, the Doctor stopped and turned slowly toward me and said “Um, Melody, I have something I need to tell you…um, your Headmistress is your mom, my wife, and her name is River Song.  Any questions, good, ask your mom.”  Before I could say something the Doctor, he ran into the Tardis.  “Y-you’re my m-mom?”  I asked in shock.  “Yes sweetie, I’m also the head of your school, good at getting into places without a sonic, and your only friend at the school other than Jenny and Amelia.”  She replied softly.  “What’s wrong with having one friend and two very supportive family members, that are so supportive that I call them friends, and the one person that I wanted to add to my list of friends, turns out to be my sister too.  And now I have to catch up 14 years with my whole family.”  All of a sudden I was leaning against the Tardis, sliding down and crying.  “Oh, Melody, what’s wrong?”  The Tardis door creaked open “It’s not a matter of what’s wrong, it’s a matter of 15 hour regeneration cycle, so that means you didn’t do anything wrong.  Anyway it’s time we get going, are you coming Jenny?”  The Doctor asked with hope in his eyes.  “Sorry Dad, I’m helping the Hath learn how to communicate better with the humans.  But I’d come if they didn’t need help.”  The hope in the Doctor’s eyes faded into sympathy.  “I’m glad you’re helping the Hath and Humans get along.  We should really get going, but I just wanted to let you know you can call me anytime you need anything.”  The Doctor smiled and hugged Jenny, and Jenny said “I will Dad. You should probably get going now, the trail Jack left won’t stay forever.”  The Doctor nodded, then we all took turns hugging Jenny and went into the TARDIS.
