February Apocalypse: Valentine's is Dead

ACT 1: GENESIS

Jake's POV
2018,February,01

The place I am is in total darkness. Suddenly.. "They're coming.... For you!!" an old lady grabbed my arms harshly, a sinister glare and creepy smile is then given to me. The old lady has a scary eyes that seemed to have cataracts, she is wearing ragged clothes and had a sign on her hand denoting " THE END IS NEAR! THEY'RE COMING!"  i looked at her with question on my mind, who are coming, and why me? so i asked her " what do you mean ma'am? who are they? from where and why me?" instead  of answering the questions i asked, the old lady turned her back from me and ran away like someone or something is chasing her while still shouting the very same phrase i heard over and over again. 

 Suddenly i heard a loud rambling noise at the back. "BLOOOGSHHH!!! Followed by screams of  people that seemed to echo endlessly inside my head, in my curiosity i turned my back only to find humanoid beings pitched black in color eating the flesh and organs of the  person laying dead. "sh*t!!... just Sh*t!!" as i swore loudly out of fear, pity, and disgust because of the things i saw.

One of the beings that feasted turned its face on me, it stood and walked towards me, it has bloodshot eyes and its face is unimaginable. I am afraid as I am that every move I make seems to be closer to death, I turned my eyes side to side Everything was chaotic, the place was wrecked and bloody. everywhere you look is horrible with organs and gored body on the street. I started to run when i suddenly noticed that i am running in slow motion, "sh*t not now jake! you need to go faster!!" I exclaimed myself out of fear "Grrrawwrrr" i heard  growls. a horrific site can be seen while i am looking at the back, the creature supposed to be eating and feasting upon the dead person now walks towards me all having the same intent to kill and eat me. "F*ck" i swore then closed my eyes as i waited for my unfortunate end.

"Blagg!!" As I fell into the floor of my bedroom. "What a nightmare.. It felt so real." It was all just a dream, no a nightmare. But it felt so weird and it was so real. I stood up then opened the curtains, the light entered my room and sun shines directly into my eyes. "February is real!" As I looked into the calendar with excitement as class is about to end. I'm getting sick and tired of going to school. I opened the door to go downstairs and eat my breakfast. "Good morning Jake! Join me here Let's Eat." My grandma greets me. "Good morning grandma" I replied kindly and sat then started to eat. After I had my breakfast I fixed myself and prepared my bike for school.
Yes I use bike because its healthy and safe to ride than cars with  smoke emitting exhausts.
Central city highschool is quite far from home and it takes me at least half an hour to go to school.
My class starts at 7:00 am and ends at 5:00 pm with 1 hour lunch break. as I ride my bike to school I see the places I usually want to spend my time.
The school is close by. I must go faster in order not be late, I rode my bike and made it inside the campus.

*an hour later
"Good morning aspiring teens" our art teacher ms. Paz enters the room. She's surprisingly older than she looks, she's already at her mid 20's despite her young teenager like appearance. "Good morning ms.Paz" the whole class replies cheerfully,  she is announcing something about events for the valentines day when i looked at the window near my seat facing ms. reyna unintentionally .  A deep thought suddenly flashes into my mind. The nightmare, the horror that haunts me every night comes back.

 "Jake Raven Monte?!.. Jake Raven Monte?!! Mr.Monte!! Can't you hear me!??" I was surprised by the presence of my teacher in front of me. All of my classmates looks sharply at me some are laughing secretly, others silently uttering good luck with a voice , "yes ma'am, sorry ma'am" my face turned reddish, then i set my face forward to to avoid further shame.

"Okay Mr. Monte since you are staring at ms. Reyna for no good reason, then I decided to make you two partners as facilitators of the blind date booth." The room noised as the mob teased us, ms.reyna blushed but I guarantee its not from cheerful thoughts, "ma'am, are you nuts?!! Why him? Why not pick Jayson instead of him? And uhh, do you think I'll work with this nerd, ohh. Noo. Not me," ouch that hurt. "Mr. Uy are you OK with ms. Mr. Reyna?" What wrong with this people? "I'm sorry ma'am but Mr. Uy's schedule is full"   so it ended that ms.reyna becomes my partner.

 "don't expect too much nerd were not close, and again you work for me, don't expect me to help you, better do it alone or you'll be sorry! Understood!?"  She said in a bossy way. "Yes ma'am reyna".

Somebody's POV
An urgent call wakes me up in my good night sleep," hello. Sir come to your lab quickly, I have a very good news for you!!" I fixed myself and pushed my elevator button to sub level 3.
My assistant Leah walks towards me with seriousness obviously shown in her face, she is a teen age girl wearing lab coat and a thick pair of eye glasses, she's holding papers entitled project L-143
"Sir the project L-143 is a sure success!!"  My assistant Leah exclaimed, "very good Leah, now let us test this breakthrough soon."  I stated calmly and confidently, "where shall the test site be?"  "The center of central city, central city highschool."
I responded to her question "A brilliant idea sir."  I grabbed the papers and goes to straight to my cache of successful projects in the closet.
