Wizarding with Sakura and Wanda: Year 1

Sorting Hat

Sakura was in her wizarding robes, she looked quite ok in it. She felt uncomfortable but it was fine.

Liza sat meowing on Sakura's shoulder and Sakura shushed it gently as they walked to the Great Hall. There sat an old hat on a stool.

McGonagall began to spoke, "The start of term banquet will begin shortly, but before you take your seats in the Great Hall, you will be sorted into your houses. The Sorting is a very important ceremony because, while you are here, your house will be something like your family within Hogwarts. You will have classes with the rest of your house, sleep in your house dormitory and spend free time in your house common room.
The four houses are called Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin. Each house has its own noble history and each has produced outstanding witches and wizards. While you are at Hogwarts, your triumphs will earn your house points, while any rule-breaking will lose house points. At the end of the year, the house with the most points is awarded the House Cup, a great honour. I hope each of you will be a credit to whichever house becomes yours.
The Sorting Ceremony will take place in a few minutes in front of the rest of the school. I suggest you all smarten yourselves up as much as you can while you are waiting."

Sakura's eyes brightened at the sight of McGonagall and waved at her, McGonagall looked over at her and gave a gentle smile as a greeting but nothing more.

Wanda nudged Sakura and asked, "You know her?"

"She's the one who helped me get my school supplies." Sakura replied, Wanda nodded and stared at the Sorting Hat as it sang its song. Then, McGonagall called in names of students so they could get sorted.

"Wanda, Lucia!"

Wanda walked up to the stool nervously and sat down, the hat was placed onto her head. A number of mutters could be heard.

"Slytherin for sure, she's so mean."

"I agree, such a stuck up."

Wanda's heart pounded hard, she didn't wanted to be a Slytherin. Not ever.

"GRYFFINDOR!" The Sorting Hat shouted, Wanda let out a sigh of relief and a few surprised gasp could be heard.

After a few other students were sorted, it was finally Sakura's turn. She was mega excited.

"Woah what in the world?" The Sorting Hat said, looking at all the memes in Sakura's head, "This will be difficult..."

A moment later...

"GRYFFINDOR!!" The Sorting Hat shouted, Sakura hopped off the stool and whipped out her recorder.

"Don't you dare, Sakura!" Wanda yelled, Sakura ignored her and began playing John Cena's theme.

"Miss Narita, please behave yourself and sit down now!" McGonagall said fiercely.

Sakura giggled and slipped towards the Gryffindor table, where Fred and George gave her a high five.

"Why do I have the feeling this is not gonna be a good year?" McGonagall mumbled as she called the next name.

"That was bloody wicked!" George laughed, "What is that?"

"It's a recorder, an instrument." Sakura answered.

"You got some guts to do that in front of all the teachers!" Fred complimented, "I'm Fred, that's George."

"Nice, I'm Sakura." Sakura introduced, then she was whacked by Wanda.

"You idiot! Why'd you have to do that?!" Wanda clenched her jaw, Sakura sticked our her tongue and shrugged.

As Dumbledore spoke about not going to somewhere somewhere unless they wanted to die and not going to somewhere somewhere because it's restricted, Sakura wasn't paying attention, he finally began the feast with four last simple words. "Nitwit! Blubber! Oddment! Tweak!"

The food magically appeared and as poor person, Sakura hasn't seen anything so beautiful. She could have cried.

In the distance, she could see a plate of spaghetti and asked for it from one of the students, they obliged and passed it to her.

Wanda looked at it for a moment, she's always wanted to try spaghetti but never got a chance to. "Hey can I have some?" Wanda poked the noodles.

Immediately, Sakura yelled, "SOMEBODY TOUCHA MY SPAGHET!"

Wanda was taken back and scooted away from Sakura awkwardly. "Okkkaaaaay."
