Ch 1: the necklace

My father is the king of Wordsnow, I am the eldest princess, Yuki Soma. My mom, the queen, died when she gave birth to Yuka, my younger sister.
I have black hair like my mother, and I have dark blue eyes, you can say I look exactly like my mother but a little different.I'm walking down the hallway to the meeting room to meet my father, he wanted to tell me something important.

" excuse me " I said as I opened the door to the meeting room.
"Yuki.. Nice timing come over here" said father
"yes father " and walked over to his side.
"Can everyone leave us alone for a minute?" He said to the servants and guards.
"of course your majesty " said the maid as she singled the sign to get out.
"is everything alright? " I asked
"yea I just wanted to entrust something to you"walking to a shelf and grabbed a golden necklaces.

I just stared at the necklace thinking that I've seen it before, and it came to me I gasped.

" That belongs to mother! Right?" I said
"correct and I'm giving it to you" he said with a smile. He opened it and showed me what was inside. Father pulled out a small golden key, but suddenly it got bigger in father's hand and I gasped.
"a golden key?? " I said with my eyes focused on it.

" it's a treasure our family protects for generations and your the oldest one so I'll give this to you to protect, and protect Yuka too." He said seriously looking at me in the eye.

" yes! I'll protect this and my family, I do know how to fight after all" I said happily.
"well about that I'm going to have you train with me from now on." Said father
"when do we start?!" I asked

" Monday after school... And don't tell Yuka or anyone, not even the servants what I gave you and told you" he said

" Why is that?" I asked

" I don't want her to get involved in this... Yuki.. Protecting that necklace, people will be after you if they know you have it." He said looking down.

" I gave you this because I can feel that something is going to happen soon, so do you accept this job?" He asked.

" Yes father I accept " I said seriously.
"I thought you'd say that, and one more thing." He said.
"what is it?" I asked.
"before your mother died she said that you must be aware that there's other people who have magic like you do"
"what? Magic?" I asked
"you will know when the time comes" he said.

" wear the necklace at all times and hide it under your dress so they won't know, don't lose it. That is all, you may leave." He said
"yes father" I said as I stood and bow and headed to my room.

I got to my room and sat in front of the mirror and fixed my hair, I got done with that so I wore the necklace and hid it in my dress like father said.

Knock knock.

" Yes?" I answered
"big sis can I come in?" Said Yuka
"of course " I said

Yuka slammed my door open and dashed in and jumped onto my bed. Yuka has brown hair like our father and she looks more like him too haha, her eyes are green, i wonder if we are real sisters, that's what I thought and I wonder why my eyes are so dark.

"hey! Yuka! Don't jump on my bed! " I said.
"don't jump on it without me!" I said as I got on the bed and started to jump and laugh with Yuka.
"hahaha hahahaha " we laughed laying down on the bed.

Knock knock.

"yes?" I answered
"is princess Yuka there?" She asked.
"yes.. is something wrong? " I asked
"you have a visitor " she said
I got up and ran to the door and asked who came to see me.

" prince Kenta " she said

Prince Kenta Kazahaya is my childhood friend, he is prince with blond hair,Yuka is one of the candidates to become his wife, me and yuka are candidate to other princes all over the world too.
Yay! Kenta is here!

" thanks where is he?" I asked
"in the garden " she said
"ok.. Hey Yuka did you want to see Kenta too? " I asked excitedly
"sure! " she said
"ok go to your room and get dressed nicely" I said. I got ready too I wore a blue dress, Yuka also wore a blue dress. who thought we were goinv to wear the same thing?

Yuka was still getting ready so I told her I was going to the garden first.

I went to the garden and saw Robert, Kenta's butler.

" Robert?" I said
"oh, good afternoon princess Yuki, how do you do?" He said politely
"good afternoon, and I'm doing great" I said with a smile
"umm.. Where is prince Kenta?" I asked
"his majesty is right this way" he said leading me to where Kenta is.

We walked to the flowers and Kenta was standing there looking at the red roses smiling. Robert bowed and went back.

" GOTCHA!" I shouted and tackled Kenta down. But he held on to me and flipped me over, He ended being on top of me.
"and I beat you again" he said
"hahaha wanna get off now?, if Robert sees us he's going to get the wrong idea" I said
"right" he said getting off me.
"why did you come today? " I asked
"to hang out with you and your father wanted to talk to me too" he said

"what does my father want with you?" I asked confused

" I don't know " he answered

"oh well anyways Yuka is going to come here too, she wants to see you" I said looking if Yuka was coming.

"oh, good I wanted to see her too" he said

" so-" I was interrupted by Yuka
"Kenta!!!" She shouted and hugged him.
"ahh!" Yuka pushed me away and I lead out a little scream and did a flip so I won't land on my butt.
"whoa! Careful!" Said Kenta, he was going to fall backwards but got his balance.

" I missed you Kenta, oh guess how old I am now!" Said Yuka

Oh well I guess I should leave them along for now, I'll go look at the water. I left them and went to my secret hide out, my secret hide out is behind the waterfall.

"I'll just wait for them to come find me." I said sitting by the small pond so I sang " the song Ashita Kuru Hi "

as I was singing wind blew and the sakura trees petals flew by into the pond. The fairies came and danced to my song. The fairies are magical fairies from behind the waterfall, when I was little I tripped and fell into the pond, but they saved me and took me to their hiding spot, which is behind the waterfall. They love it when I come visit them, play with them and sing to and other stuff.

Suddenly the all stopped and stared at my chest." Huh? What's wrong?" I looked down and noticed that the necklace was glowing, and I felt like something was floting inside of me.

" what is this? " I said as I held the necklace in my hand looking at it.
