Ch 4: school

"Yuki...Yuki, please wake up " someone was calling my name.

I woke up to a pink ceiling above me.

"where am I?" I said looking around and spotted Kenta laying down on the couch closest to the bed.

What happened? oh right the maid she attacked me and I defeated her. The necklace! Where is it? I quickly touched my neck, phew it's still here.

I stood up and went to Kenta's side.

"He's so cute when he's asleep, he's sleeping like a baby...hehe" I chuckled "wait what am I thinking?"  I shake my head then look back at his sleeping face.

"thank you for rescuing me back there, since your not awake I'll just tell you, I always liked you since we we're little, but I wasn't sure if you liked me back."I said holding his hand.

"but what if Yuka loves you too?" I said with tears in my eyes, I looked down and let go of his hand.

"okay! I'll just pretend that I didn't say that" I said out loud.

"hehe it's embarrassing " I said as I turned my back to him and scratched my head nervously.

"what's embarrassing?" He said.

"ack!" I screamed as I noticed that he was awake.

" how long we're you awake?" I asked

"the whole time" he said, and I froze.

"what's with the look? I was just kidding." He said laughing.

"ugh! Stop teasing me!" I yelled

"anyway what's embarrassing?" He asked moving his face in front of mine.

"what's wrong your face is red" he said poking my cheek.

"n-nothing! " I said walking away from him.

"h-hey wait up!" He yelled as I left the room. I ran out side to the back doors that leads to my room. I waited for Kenta to go out side I was standing on the edge of the porch of my room.

"there he is!" I said as I saw him standing outside looking for me.

"Ken-" I stopped myself when I saw Yuka with Kenta.

*deep breaths* but why do I feel this way? My chest aches and I grip my chest. I watch him leave.

Next morning..

I woke to my sister's shaking me to get up for school.

"time for school!!! Yuki!" Wake up!"she yelled at me.

"hmm 3 more mins" I groaned

"it's 6:47!!! We're gonna be late!" She started shaking me again.

"oh I've got to get ready for school!" I said to myself and got ready.

"I'm waiting for you, I'm all ready" she said smiling at me.

"wake me up sooner next time!" I said as I grabbed the necklace and ran out the door with Yuka.

Yuka is a first year, and I'm a second year.

DONG DONG DONG...

that was the bell to tell the students they have to be in the school. Kenta is in the same class and nobody knows that we are the prince and princess because we never show our faces to them, we do sneak into town with a disguise.

"ki, Yuki! " yelled Akane. I came back to reality when I herd her saying my name. I realized that the teacher has been calling my name the whole time.

"yes!?" I said to the teacher and stood up.

"are you ok?"he asked

"it's unusual to see you spaced out Yuki, do you want to go to the infirmary?" he said,

" uh no- ah" i was interrupted by Kenta

"I'll take her" he said standing up.

"very well, take care of her for me Kenta." He said smiling.

"yes" Kenta replayed walking towards me.

"hey- wait!" I yelled as Kenta grabbed my arm and dragged me out of the room.

"hey! Let go!" I said when we got a couple feet away from the classroom. I was trying to make him let go.

"gah!" I yelled as he suddenly let go and I ran into a wall.

"that hurts!" I yelled turning around to face him.

"you said let go, so I did" he said.

"hm? Your acting strange, what's wrong with you?" I asked studying him.

"nothing is, anyway why we're you so spaced out?" he asked.

"huh? Oh nothing" I said acting innocent.

"doesn't look like it"he said with his face in front of my face.

"let's go" he said beginning to drag me again to the infirmary.When we got there he waited till I fell asleep then he left.
