I will always be there

kihyun past

 I used to be carefree and bright like every kid of my age. I was protected by the king and I should be thankfull for that. My parants were in good terms with the king my dad was a guard for the king until he got a handicap while protecting the king. Because of what my dad did for the king our family is allowed to stay for ever. We are also in good terms with one of the riches people ever also a good friend of our king. He was nice to me and my older sister, we could always go there to play in his huge garden. "Uncle when I grow big I want to be just like dad to protect a important person. I will protect uncle from now on to show the king how good I am."I smiled while saying it to the uncle. "kihyunna will you do what I say then when your older?" he asked with a smile while patting my head. "Of course Uncle should have protection and you should follow the orders of the person you're serving under. That's what dad always said." I told Uncle. "kihyunna play with me, stop talking with uncle!"my sister screamed from out o the garden. "go Kihyun your sister is calling for you." Uncle pointed towards my sister in the garden and I went to her to play. That was when I was 7 years old.

Now I'm 12 years old and told uncle to protect him and do what he asked. "so kihyunna are you ready for your first mission?"he asked and I nodded at his question. "Kihyunna I want you to go to the slums and kill some people."he said while giving a list with names and ages and were they are supposed to live. "I have sended a person before but he couldn't do the job he only had one house burned and then left the mission and killed himself. But I'm sure you can do it, right Kihyunna. Or else your family will go down. You can take your time with killing as long as it happens." he said with a scary smile. "But some of the people on this list are children like me, what did these people do wrong?" I asked. "well there excistance it self is already a disgrace to this kingdom but our king doesn't want to kill them and let them live in slums what could be better used as a place for farmers. Now no questions and go, here are some tools."He handed me a bag with wapons and gave me clothes to look like somebody from the slums. 

The first time I walked inside the slums people were so nice. "ah look at this kid he got kicked out of the protected place all alone, Boy you can sleep at our house we mostly take in kids who just get here and help them to get  a good life here." a woman asked me. "what is your name miss?" I asked with a shy faked voice. "ah I'm Lee  Chae-rin and what is your name kid. " she asked with such a kind smile, I feel terible that her name was on the list to kill. "I'm Yoo Kihyun." I said with my fake shy voice and fake smile. She told me to follow her to the house. There were pretty young children running around and some older teens who were just reading a book or talking. "everybody this is Yoo Kihyun he just got here in the slums so be nice to him. "Ya how old are you we don't know if we have to call you hyung or not." one o the girls said to me. "I'm 12 years old." i said to her. "ah were the same age, finally sombody the same age as me most are older or younger my name is kwon mina but call me mina."she said while smiling. Ah how can I kill them they are all so young or nice. But I have to do as what uncle told me or els my family will get killed, I don't want that either.

I got really close to Mina she was really nice and showed me around the slums. we talked a lot and became friends in one evening not knowing that I had to kill her that night. "why is that house so left?"I asked mina while we walked past a house that looked abonded. "Well 5 years ago a person put the house on fire almost everybody died, only one boy survived but he never wanted to be with us he said he manage on his own." she told me and I nodded in respons.  when we got back we had dinner with everybody els. we want to sleep right after that, I waited till everybody was asleep to be sure I woke up at 2 am.

I first killed one kid he screamed that everybody woke up. The all ran towards Chae-rin room and woke her up. I got there and she looked terrified at me, but still protected the kids. I locked the door behind me. "Kihyunna I thought you were a good boy, how did this happen."Chae-rin asked. "well I got order from a person inside the protected area I only do this to not get my family killed."I cried while nearing her. "Please spare the kids they did nothing wrong they were left by their own parants please."she cried out. "I'm sorry, I don't want to do this either."I cried out. And than stabbed her in her heart. the other kids started to cry in front of me screaming her name they didn't care that I was still there. I than killed  a few boys first. And than a few girls. I was almost done only mina was left. "please Kihyun, it's enough right? your a nice person, I can see your pain in the eyes. just stop now. "she cried in front of me. "I'm sorry I don't want my family to be killed. But I don't want to kill you, I can't kill you." I cried while dropping the knife on the ground. "than let me go I will never say anything to anybody." she said. "But I don't want to lose a friend, I will be lonly I don't want to be lonly here." I cried. "It's okey we can stay friends just don't kill me. I promise I won't get away." She suddenly hugged me. I cried even harder and said: "alright  but you have to stay with me." she nodded in respons.

When I got 14 I killed over 200 people. Mina was still with me even though she didn't liked it she knew why I did it. I fell In love with her she was the only one who could confront me, I hated to murder people so everytime I got back she confronted me. I met Jooheon when I was 15 years old he got me out of murdering. But because Jooheon saved me Mina took the change to flee. she left me with a broken heart. It took me a while to get up again but it all worked out. Jooheon knew were she went she joined an other clan with girls but somewhere in the north while we were in the south. He said that that clan wanted the same as our clan so I was happy that mina found something. Mina is still in my heart and that won't change. 

A year after I got into the X clan I became friends with Minhyuk he was the boy Mina talked about when I first met her. We are the same age and we became close friends mainly because i knew kinda who killed his family. He joined the clan and took one of his friends Hyungwon into it to. Hyungwon was 15 and the youngest together with Jooheon. Jooheon was the leader of the clan and was pretty smart on the other hand Hyungwon was a more reversed type, mainly quiet and shy around us. He mostly talked with Minhyuk and after a while he started to talk with me.  When I became 17 I.M joined us. Jooheon said that our group was compleet and that this group shouldn't get bigger. I.M was the second person who got close to Hyungwon after me. Minhyuk told me that his dad beat him up and that his dad is the mayor of the city. Because of the X clan I changed the way I am now. The others also changed a bit but I changed the most I think. Because I had a murder instinct when I joined the clan and almost killed them. Jooheon was the one who helped me to forget my past and keep that behind.  I still wander what happend to Mina, Jooheon did say that she was in a girl clan called the A clan. the most highest clan that there was. They probably ended just like us or did age and survived the war. Who knows I just hope to see her ust once. I don't think I love her anymore. My love for her went away after 3 years being in the clan.
