Babysitting

"Jimin-ah, whats wrong? You haven't said a word all day," Yoongi asked his boyfriend, placing a gentle hand on his shoulder. Jimin just shook his head, eyes trained on the television screen in front of them. He wasn't actually watching the show that was currently playing, but he wasn't in the mood to talk to anyone.

"Baby, please talk to me. I can't make you feel better if you don't tell me what's wrong," He tried again, placing two fingers under jimin's pointed chin and turning his head to face his own. 

"Nothing, I-I'm just tired," Jimin mumbled, swatting the elders hand away before scooting to the opposite end of the sofa, away from Yoongi. Yoongi sighed and stood up from his seat, not sparing Jimin a glance as he walked into the kitchen of Jimin's small apartment, heading straight to the fridge to pour himself a drink. 

"Jimin-ah, have you been babysitting again? You've left the Disney plates out," Yoongi called from the kitchen. Jimin tensed up as he realised he hadn't cleared away last night's mess, completely forgetting about the childish plates he had previously used to eat off. 

"Y-yeah, sorry Hyung," he called back, trying not to let his voice waver too much. He heard yoongi putting the dishes away into the cupboards, before he reappeared again with a glass of water in his hand.

"Jimin, I know you're not tired. When you're tired you're clingy, and this," he said, motioning towards jimin, "is not clingy. Baby, please just tell me what's bothering you and I can help you, I don't want to see you sad," Yoongi gave jimin a knowing look before taking a sip from his glass, not taking his eyes off of his boyfriend as he awaited his answer.

Jimin sighed before opening and closing his mouth a few times, somewhat reminding Yoongi of a fish. It took him a few moments before he composed himself and started speaking, but even then he didn't even look Yoongi's direction.

"I, uh, I got a letter today, from my landlord," Jimin spoke quietly, chewing on his bottom lip, a habit he had when he's nervous, "I-it said that I have three days to pack my stuff up and leave. I'm being evicted, Hyung, and I don't have anywhere to go," tears pricked at Jimin's eyes as Yoongi embraced the younger, pressing light kisses to the crown of his head as he sniffed into Yoongi's shirt.

"Baby, who said you don't have anywhere to go? You can move in with me, it goes without saying," Yoongi murmured into his boyfriends ear, pressing another kiss onto his temple, his hands rubbing soothing circles onto the small of his back.

"I can't move in with you, Hyung, I wouldn't be able to pay the rent," Jimin said, his voice muffled by Yoongi's chest. 

"Oh baby, you know my job pays more than enough, I can afford to pay the rent for you! I'm not taking no for an answer," Yoongi replied, earning a slight chuckle from Jimin, the airy sound like an angels voice to the elder.

"B-but I'd feel bad, Yoongi Hyung, you already buy me enough shit as it is," Jimin sniffed, pushing himself upright so he was facing his boyfriend. 

"You don't need to feel bad, angel, you're my boyfriend, it's in the job description to buy you things," Yoongi smirked as Jimin rolled his eyes, playfully hitting the elder on the shoulder.

"Thank you, Hyung, I love you so much," jimin whispered, a light blush creeping up to his cheeks.

"I love you too, baby, more than you could ever know," Yoongi replied, kissing Jimin lightly on the lips before pulling him down into his side, wrapping his arms around Jimin's waist as they watched the rest of the TV show in a peaceful silence, the only sound interrupting it was the sound of soft kisses yoongi left on jimin's head.
